Summer Afternoon, Timeless Talk, Postage Due, Feeling Sentimental, Postage Collection Stampin' Up Sets....

Pushbikes, Penny Farthings, Bikes with flower baskets...

Hi there, I have created some more Bike themed cards for our friend Bronwyn's Cardiac Challenge. (Refer this post...   http://barbnshellcreations.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/bicycles-bicycles-bicycles-and-cardiac.html)

I created a set of 5 cards using pinks, purple and maroon coloured card, with a common metallic bronze paper for matting.  All the images are stamped with versamark and heat embossed with Judikins Metallic Copper Embossing Powder.

I created a 'paper' box using the envelope maker - I came across this fantastic site which tells you how to use your envelope maker to create a box -  all you need to do is have the measurements of your creation, type these measurements into the site and it works out exactly where you need to punch and score!!!  http://www.thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/  How easy is that!!  Thank-you so much Crafty Owl for making the boxbuster!!!

I have used Stampin' Up Images and Wording for all of the above cards as follows:

Summer Afternoon
Timeless Talk
Postage Due
Feeling Sentimental
Postage Collection
Loving Thoughts
Tea Shoppe

I used 3 Embossing Folders as follows:

Stampin' Up Textured Impressions
Cuttlebug - Spots and Dots and
Mpress - Heather Border

I also used ribbon, brads, rhinestones and tiny flowers.  As well as the cardstock and metallic bronze paper.

The Cardiac Challenge is still a couple of weeks away, so if you wished to donate and have not had the chance, any donations would be greatly appreciated for such a worthy cause!!

See you again soon,

Stampin'up-Traveler

Hello
A couple more cards featuring the great Stampin'up Traveler stamp set

This first card is in the colours of black, white and pool party.
World map is stamped in black on to white card, matted to pool party, and the edges distressed and then sponged with pool party ink, and taped to the black card front.
A piece of pool party card is embossed in clouds folder, wrapped twice with thick twine, three metallic brads inserted down the left side and attached to the upper section. Another piece of pool card is also embossed in the clouds folder, edges distressed, matted to black card with the edges distressed, and attached to the lower section of the card.
The ship, suitcase, passport and camera, and sentiment from Itty bitty banners are all stamped on to white card and cut out, with the ship cut into a rectangle, shaded with pool party ink and matted on to black card. Attach with dimensionals on a slight angle to the upper section.  The case and passport are attached flat to the lower panel, with the camera raised on dimensionals. The sentiment is die cut with bitty banners and attached, raised, over the ship flag. Candy dots are added to the corners of the lower panel.
The insert is stamped with the ship, and a sentiment from Really good greetings.

The second card is black and white and features the train.
The sentiment from Daring Adventure is stamped with versamark ink and white embossed on to black card, then embossed in square lattice folder. This is then matted with white card.
Using Illuminate ink stamp the lower front of the card blank with random images of the passport and camera. The word live is part of a sentiment from Really good greetings, stamped in versamark and white embossed. Attach the stamped, embossed panel to the upper section of the card blank and add candy dots to the corners.
Stamp the train on to white card, sponge the edges with black ink, and mat with a slightly larger piece of white card. Stamp two tickets from Thats the ticket set and punch out. Tape to the back of the train piece and attach it all to the card front with dimensionals. Add a black candy dot to the top left corner. Finish off with a couple of strips of washi tape below the panel.
Add a stamped insert.
This set is so versatile and I hope you have gained a few ideas here.
Keep happy crafting. Till next time

Cheery Lyn Exotic Butterflies, Stampin' Up Butterfly Prints - Mini Accordion Flip Album... Love is like a Butterfly...

Good Morning,

Mini Accordion Flip Album time again...  I feel this one is very feminine with it's soft colours and beautiful butterflies...

The gorgeous butterflies on the cover are a Cheery Lyn Die - Small Exotic Butterflies #2. The black embossed wording is from Stampin' Ups set - Butterfly Prints. The dotted frame is done with a black marker.  I have also added Distress Stickles Picket Fence to the butterflies for added sparkle. Up in the left hand corner of the cover I have die-cut a Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Accent.

The small butterfly stamped on every other panel is from Stampin' Up's set - Cottage Garden.

I used papers from the same 12x12 paper pad from Kaisercraft - Antique Rose.

Remember, basic instructions and other photo views are only a couple of posts back so have a look if you wish to see more!
Also, remember these Mini Accordion Flip Albums are available in our shop - please visit below link for other creations!

Covered notes

Hi Everyone

I have had requests lately for some small gifts. Here is something we all use and it can easily be made to suit anyone.

The ever useful post-it notes. This design opens to the side and has a pen holder incorporated in the spine. It can be made to any size and embellished to suit the recipient. These ones hold 7.5 cm notes.

These ones take 12.5 x 7.5 cm notes.

These ones are for the guys. For the shed or workshop. Embellished with cogs, cracked clocks and metal.
No more excuses for missing messages.

The same design has been used here to cover an A6 sized notepad. This one has an added panel which has been run through an inked embossing folder.

Yet another design. This one is matchbook style and holds a 7.5 cm note pad.

A few ideas and a little inspiration.
                                                                     Decorate your desk.
Until next time -  Keep Happy crafting

Field Flowers, Silhouette Sentiments, Little Leaves - Mini Accordion Flip Album... My Thoughts are Happiest When you're in Them....

Hello,

Phew, longest heading ever!! When you buy a Stamp Set, and you wish for inspiration - do you search the stamp sets name to see what comes up? I hope so - because that is how I titled this post! I used the above listed Stampin' Up Stamp Sets and die to create this beautiful Mini Accordion Flip Album.

Aren't the colours fabulous together?  I used more of the paper from Kaisercraft's 12x12 paper pad named Antique Rose.  The flowers on the cover and on the tag are also Kaisercraft products - paper flowers in Sepia and Taupe.  I have used pearl brads for the flower centres and pearls in the corners.  The leaves are a Stampin Up Sizzix die named Little Leaves.

I have stamped some leaves and little birds in the corners of some of the panels.

The gorgeous roses on the paper and the Sentiments on the tag and on the cover give this mini accordion album a feeling of love and elegance.

There is 11 places in this album to add photos! I have give basic instructions on how to create these gorgeous Mini Accordion Flip Albums in the previous post - they are so quick and easy to make!

This Mini Accordion Flip Album is available to purchase in online store:

See you soon with the next Mini Album I have lined up to share with you...

Tim Holtz Sewing Room and My Favorite Things Sew Nifty - Mini Accordion Flip Albums... Sew Cute ...

Morning,

Hope you plan to have a crafty day! I have created more of the Mini Accordion Flip Albums - like the one I posted here: http://barbnshellcreations.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/fancy-pants-accordian-flip-album.html

First, I have a photo of the three albums I have made, with their co-ordinating tags.  Today, in this post, I will show you the first one - Sew Cute - in more detail...

First is Sew Cute, then My Thoughts are Happiest when You're in them and lastly, Love is like a Butterfly.

I posted basic instructions on how to create the mini (see link above) - they are so easy to make!

For the cover, I have used Tim Holtz Alterations - Sewing Room Bigz die. I paper pieced a dress for the dressform and added a bitty buckle across the waist using off white ribbon, which I also used to thread the buttons and to wind around the spool.
The wording for the cover, tag and throughout the album (see below), is from a "My Favorite Things" stamp set "Sew Nifty".  The stamped (and black embossed) Dress Form is also from "My Favorite Things" Dienamics Die and stamp set.
(yes, it does feel really very wrong to not put a 'u' in favourite - just in case you were wondering!!!)

The two papers I chose for this project are papers from a Kaisercraft's Antique Rose 12x12 paper pad. Gorgeous aren't they!

As you can see in the photos, I have faux stitched a double row of stitching around the edges with a black marker.  I have also stamped on the lighter coloured paper panels - sewing related quotes, for example:

"You really are sew special"
"Memories are stitched with love"
"Friendship is sewn with love and measured with kindness"

I finished off the detail on the cover and the tag, using pearls in various sizes.

The overall measurement for these albums - when folded - is 11.5 cm high by 10 cm wide.

I will be back very soon with the details for the other two albums - be sure to visit again soon!

I will also be adding these Mini Accordion Flip Albums to our shop - so keep an eye out for those here:

"May your bobbin always be full"

Castle Dreams...

Once upon a dream...

Walt Disney had a dream - and we are very fortunate to live in a world where one of his dreams - Disneyland - became a reality!!

Disney has many quotes about dreams.  This is one of my favourites.

I also had a dream....  When I was 19, I went to America to Disneyland in Los Angeles and to Disney World in Florida and I was hooked - from then on one of my dreams was to be able to visit again.  My family and I were very excited to visit  Disney Sea in Tokyo (2012) and this year Disneyland in Tokyo!

Thanks Walt Disney! - Dreams - do come true ....

I created this layout for Wild About Scrap Design Team. I am sure If I lived in a city where there is a Disneyland - I would have a yearly pass!!

Follow your dreams,
