Lavinia - Fairy Wings...

 Happy New Year!

Hope you have had a magical start to 2023!

Speaking of magical, I have beautiful Fairy cards again today - can you tell these are a favourite to create!?!

Fragile Fairy Melanie is a Stamp It stamp framed by Lavinia Fuchsia and Dylusions Oodles of Foliage.

Luna sitting on her branch is from Lavinia and the background foliage is a Japanese wooden stamp.

Lavinia's Daydreaming and Creeping Vine and Hero Arts Blooming Meadow are the stamps used on the card below.

Stickles have been added to the Fairy's wings for sparkle as a touch of fairy dust!

Thank you for visiting us today!

Oriental 16th Birthday Card featuring Kaisercraft Hanami Garden...

Hello,

Today's card would have to be one of my all time favourite cards that I have created!! I love the whole Oriental feel of the card - the colours, the pattern, the design - just stunning!

I have used a chocolate coloured base card, with a soft pink layer under the patterned paper which is from Kaisercraft's Paper Pad - Hanami Garden.

The 16 is die-cut from pink glitter card and coated in Ranger's Glossy Accents.

The Happy Birthday is a Kaszazz stamp called Happy Birthday Bold. The Lantern and the Temple are from two different Stamp It sets - siset02gs and Asian.

Just beautiful, don't you agree? I wish I was right there, sitting under the tree! Maybe one day...

Hope you are having a relaxing day,

Aussie Animal Themed Cards - Kaszazz

Hello there

As you can no doubt tell by now, some of my favourite projects to create include our own unique Aussie animals and plants.

The animal stamps are Kaszazz Australian Animals, which were stamped onto coloured card with black Archival ink, then fussy cut.
Background papers, with the exception of the last card, are from Kaszazz. The final cards  background paper is from Kaisercraft.
Background stamps are Gum tree from Stamp-it and grass trees from Stamp World.
Ultimate Crafts gum tree, grass tree and kangaroo paw dies have also been used. The negative die cut from the grass tree was also used as a stencil on the background of the first card.
Stickles glitter glue, glossy accents and dark brown pearls finished the designs.

I hope you get as much enjoyment from looking at these cards as I do from making them.

Till next time
be happy

Stamp It Fragile Fairy Melanie Cards...

Good morning,

Hope you have a wonderful day planned!  If you have planned a gardening day, perhaps you may see some beautiful fairies like these...

They have been created using papers and cardstock from Stampin' Up, stamped with kaleidoscope inkpads in various colourways and using a glue pen, I have added glitter to the images.

I have intentionally left the cards blank (ie have not added "Happy Birthday" etc) so they can be used for any purpose. I have also lined each card and added an image of the fairy to the lining.

Enjoy your day!

Stamp It - Asian

Good Morning,

Three more cards for you today - after choosing the background papers - I aimed for a softer feel on these cards.  The stamp set I used to make these is a Stamp It Set - another company with a fantastic range of stamps available.  This set is called "Asian"...

I embossed the Geisha and the words with black embossing powder. "birthday wishes" is from Stampin Ups - Wow Flowers set.  The tree image is stamped with Stampin Ups Smoky Slate, Nellie Snellen Frames are also edged with the same colour.  I finished off with small brads and some sheer ribbon.  Backgound paper was another magazine freebie.

I used the same ink colour for Tree image - smoky slate, also embossed Geisha image with black. Nellie Snellen Multi Frame for circle frame - see next card where I used the cut-out part. Bamboo and Geisha from same Stamp It - Asian set.

I embossed the card itself with an Mpress Embossing Folder - "Karen Frame".  I used same colour and same "birthday wishes" message.

Dreaming of a Japanese holiday,
Have a great day
