Thinking of You - Shaped Easel Cards

Hello

We have a selection of shaped easel cards today to say Thinking of you, Feel better soon.

The card bases were formed by placing the folded card blank over the edge of the selected die shape and cutting. The front side of the card was folded in half and a second die cut shape attached.

This first oval card has been embellished with stamps, dies and papers from Stampin'up Beautiful Promenade collection.

Versafine inks were used for stamping, and distress inks for shading.

An organdie bow, gems, Stickles glitter glue, and wink of Stella glitter pen completed the design.

A panel of card has been added to the inside of each card to add a greeting.

This card has been decorated with stamps and papers from Kaszazz, Resort collection.

The toucan image was stamped with archival ink, coloured with watercolour pencils, and fussy cut. The beak and eye were coated with glossy accents, and gems added to the flower centres. This was then added to a dot embossed panel and then the papered card front.

Stardust pen was used to outline the paper layers.

Stamps and dies from Stampin'up Secret Garden set were used for this card.

Pearls, an organdie bow, and stardust pen finished off this card.

I hope you are having a cheerful day.

Till next time,
be happy

Shaped Double Easel Card

Hello

Following the creation of  the triple easel card, we moved onto a double easel (they can be a little addictive). They are very effective and quite easy once you know how.

This card uses a die cut label for the base.
First cut and fold your card to size then die cut making sure to overlap the die with your fold. Score and fold the front in half then add another die cut shape to the front stand.

Make the card in two sizes, embellish, then layer together
fitting the smaller card inside the larger outer card.
My card is decorated using the Spring flower stamps and dies from Kaszazz. A ribbon bow, gems and glitter glue add the finishing touches.

Give them a go.

Oakberry Lane Blossom Cards - Heartfelt Creations

Hello

We have a couple of  cards  today featuring Oakberry Lane Blossoms, stamps, dies and mould, from Heartfelt Creations.

This first card is a diagonal easel card. The base was cut using a scalloped square die with the folded card overlapping the edge of the die. The front section was scored and folded in half, and another die cut scalloped square attached to the front stand. The front stand and inside base were covered with smaller scalloped squares cut from patterned paper.
The flowers and leaves were stamped with archival ink on to white card, sponged over with distress inks then die cut. They were then shaped in the mould and formed into layered blossoms. Pearls were added to the centres and glitter glue dotted on. A sentiment was stamped, die cut into a banner shape, and mounted, making sure to orientate it in the correct position.
A panel of card was added inside the base to write a message.

This card base was cut with a wavy rectangle die, then layered with a second piece of card, with a strip of ribbon added down the left edge.
A smaller rectangle was cut from patterned paper (from Kaszazz), stamped with a sentiment, then layered on the front.
The flowers and leaves were added, along with some additional butterflies, fussy cut from the paper.

Enjoy your day

Triple Heart Easel Card

Hello

These triple heart cards are not as difficult to make as they look.
They are simply three different sized easel cards layered together, and folded into the larger card.

I used Kaszazz heart dies in 5 different sizes for the front stands and for the stopper.
As the paper is quite busy, I added only some gems and a stamped die cut birthday banner. Some glitter glue was added to the banner and the stopper heart.

Enjoy
