Box Cards - Die Cuts With A View - Floral Brilliance...

Hello,

Today I have a couple of really pretty Box Cards to share with you. These cards were both created using a Die Cuts With A View 12x12 Paper Pad - named Floral Brilliance.

The butterflies on both cards and the word Love are all Stampin' Up Products - the above Butterfly from Stamp Set - Summer Solstice. Love is from Stamp Set Basic Phrases and the butterfly on the below card is Elegant Butterfly punch.

I hand cut the flowers and leaves on both cards and added rhinestones to the flowers for the centres.

Most of the box cards I have created lately have been Christmas themed, so it was a nice change to make some beautiful flowery boxes. This DCWV Paper Pad (which I purchased from our local Spotlight Store) has 48 sheets, 14 of which have pink glitter - am loving using this paper pad!

Off to use these papers on a different project, have a great day,

Nature Lover - Kaszazz

Hello

I hope you are enjoying your day.
These cards feature images and dies from Kaszazz Nature Lover collection.

Your Wings Exist image was stamped on to a square of white card, with Archival ink, then again on to a second piece of white card, making sure to capture the whole butterfly image. This second  butterfly was then cut out with the corresponding die, and coloured with watercolour pencils.
A white square card base was layered with a smaller square of Messages patterned paper.
The stamped square was matted on to a slightly larger frame of gold glitter card, then mounted on to the card front. The butterfly was added by gluing down the body and raising the wings with magic mount. Gems were added to the butterfly and the corners, and sitckles to part of the wings.

For this card Bucket of Flowers, and the sentiment, were stamped in Archival ink on to white card, layered on to embossed paper, then on to a white card base. A strip of patterned paper was layered over the join of the card and paper. Bucket of Flowers was stamped and gold embossed on to a second piece of white card and then die cut. This image was coloured with watercolour pencils and a small bow tied from gold thread was added. This piece was then mounted offset, above the image stamped on the card front. Gems were then added.

This card is a white square card base layered with Florentine Red paper from Nostalgic collection, which has been wrapped with ribbon secured with a pearl brad. Camellia Wreath and the sentiment have been stamped on white card and coloured with watercolour pencils. This panel was then added to the card front.
The camellia was stamped on to a second piece of white card, coloured, and fussy cut, then mounted over the original stamped image.
Pearls were added to finish the design.

Bridge Cards

Hello

Hope you are having an enjoyable day.
We have some fancy fold bridge cards for you this post.

This first card is sized to fit into a regular sized envelope. Spring flower and banner stamps and dies from Kaszazz  are the feature on this card. The stamped and die cut images have been coloured with alcohol markers, then placed one on the bridge front and a second in a slightly offset position, in the section behind it. The die cut banner and sentiment were then fixed across the top. A stamped panel was added to the back centre section for a message.

This second card is a taller card and fits in a DL sized envelope. Camellia stamps and die set from Kaszazz have been used here. The sentiment has been stamped and white embossed, and the vine flourishes are cut from silver foil card.

Lilly pad Lake stamps and dies from Stampin'up are the focal images on this card.
The cloud dies across the top are by Joy crafts.

These cards all fold flat. Wink of Stella pens, glossy accents, stickles glitter glue and gems have been used to highlight the designs.

Enjoy

Butterfly Cards featuring Darkroom Door - Butterflies

Hello

In North Queensland we have an absolutely beautiful blue butterfly, known as the Blue Mountain Butterfly or the Ulysses Butterfly. I have created the following cards using an image from Darkroom Door's Butterflies Stamp Set - this butterfly is not the same shape as the Ulysses. The Ulysses is a large swallowtail...

I stamped the image with Versamark Black Ink and then embossed with Black Embossing Powder. I have then coloured the butterfly with Copic B29 Ultramarine. Next I outlined the image and traced over the wing details with my Jelly Roll Stardust Pen and finally coated with Ranger's Glossy Accents.

Using a white card base, layering with black card, then a white layer which features the butterfly images and then adhering the coloured butterfly with mounting tape makes the butterfly appear as though it is hovering above the card. Here is a closer view of a butterfly...

These butterflies are so beautiful, you can't help feeling blessed when you are lucky enough to see one!

Hope you have at least one moment of feeling blessed today!
