Judikins Dragonfly Card and Necklace Gift Box...

Hello,

Today's project - Necklace Gift Box and matching card feature a beautiful silver embossed dragonfly image stamped using Judikins Dragonfly stamp.  Also featured on this card is Circle Trio from Kaszazz.

The backgrounds for both the Card and the cover of the Gift Box were created using Ranger's Distress Inks. These backgrounds were then multi layered with silver, white and blue cardstock to the box and the card base.

"Happy Birthday" is stamped from Kaszazz Mini Messages Happy Birthday set and the "50" is from Age Birthday set also by Kaszazz.

The cardstock insert of the Gift Box is angled so the Necklace hangs nicely for presentation. White ribbon with a silver stiched edging and rhinestones complete this set.

Gift Drawer Easel Cards

Here is a selection of gift drawer easel cards recently created.
The banner and sentiment stamp and die is from Kaszazz.

A variety of card and paper and other embellishments  has been used. These are a special way to present a small gift.

Kaszazz Gift Boxes...

Today's post is featuring some of Kaszazz's Gift Boxes, which I have decorated using a selection of products - Kaszazz, Heartfelt Creations, Stampin Up etc.

First, I painted each box with an acrylic paint (various brands), then using a stencil, I applied gesso to the sides and the lids of each box.

Next I chose the flowers and the leaves for each box and created those - some are stamped and embossed, others are just stamped. The flowers and leaves are either hand cut, die-cut and some are punched out with punches.

I created flower centres - either by using a brad or simply just rhinestones and pearls.

Laid out the design for each lid - choosing where and how many flowers and leaves I would need.  I have also placed a flower and or some rhinestones/pearls on the sides of each box.

Lastly I have assembled each top, adding ribbon and extra rhinestones/pearls as needed.

Just add some chocolates or some jewellery, maybe a nice soap - a beautiful gift idea!

Easter Treat Baskets

Today I am sharing with you some little baskets for those Easter treats

 




These little baskets have been created using Stampin'up Fancy favour die. I have added a handle and embellished with various die cuts, embossing folders, stamps and ribbons.

This basket is hand cut, has embossed side panels and is embellished with ribbons, flowers and a tag.

This is cut using Stampin'up Petal cone die and Memory Box spring bunnies die.

Carta Bella - Christmas Time - Red Ornaments - Surprise Box .... and... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year!!  Hope you had a great finish to the year 2014 and are excited to start a new one! 

The first creation we will share with you is a surprise!!   Well really a Surprise Box.  If you have never seen or opened a surprise box - you are missing out!  When you remove the lid.... the box falls open... Cool huh?!?   These boxes are a fantastic gift idea - you can add photos to the inside (and the outside if you wish!) before you gift them, or the recipient can add their photos after...

                            

Gorgeous isn't it? It looks just like a present... so it feels like I have created a present for you to start the new year with... do you like it?  Keep reading and you will see the surprise inside!

I have chosen paper from the Carta Bella Christmas Time range, this particular one is named Red Ornaments which I have teamed up with Green Cardstock and Brushed Silver card.

inside this gorgeous little box, I have created some little gift boxes...

I have used my all time favourite Hero Arts Decorative Ornament stamp to create the ornaments on the lid.

Gift Boxes...

More of the Christmas creations for you to add to your list for next year!!

These cute little boxes are created using a Stampin' Up die, Tim Holtz Die - Tattered Leaves, Bosskut Large Leaf Die, Graceful Journey Small Leaf stamp, Stampin' Ups French Foliage stamp set, red glitter, ink, glossy accents and of course cardstock.

This is a great sized gift box to fill with chocolates etc... I had placed some shredded brown paper in the bottom of mine and added a lolly bag!

Heart Boxes (Part 2)...

Back with the second set of Heart Boxes - this is the set that is being kept together as a set...

Please excuse the not so great photos!!  The colour in the photos is not quite right and as I have already passed the boxes on....

Side view and top view of the stacked boxes.  We painted the bottoms of the heart boxes with black acrylic paint and adhered co-ordinating papers to the lids.  Ribbon and bows around the outside of the lids and bows on the tops.

And, finally we added a large bow to keep them all together!

Heart Boxes

Good Afternoon,

Week 2 at School and I feel like I have hit the ground running!  We were asked to cover some Heart Boxes for a cent sale coming up soon.  We were given two sets of 5 heart boxes - 1 set to have as separate prizes and one set to keep whole as a larger prize....  This is the set that is being split up - I will show you the other set as soon as I have added the ribbon.

As they weren't being kept as a set - we felt we didn't need to keep them all the same.

I think this one is probably my favourite!

We just used papers and paints I already had in my stash - kept them fairly simple - paint the bottoms and cover the lids in paper.

We attached ribbons all the way around the lids and added bows as above.

Thank you to my Beautiful Friend who came and helped me to cover and paint these!!  We had a great day!!

Bicycles, bicycles, bicycles and Cardiac Challenges...

Hello,

Every year, the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation and Mount Franklin hold a fundraiser - "Cardiac Challenge".  This is a non-profitable Charity fundraising event where all the funds raised will be used for equipment and support Cardiac Services at the Cairns Hospital.

A close friend of ours (Bronwyn) has teamed up with her sister (Erin) - "Sister Act" and are participating in the Cardiac Challenge - where they will be required to ride their bikes from Cairns to Cooktown  on August 29-31, 2014!

A couple of weeks ago, "Sister Act" had a wine and cheese evening, for which we created a donation for one of their raffles...

As it is a bike ride - guess what we used as our theme????

We created a selection of cards - 5 in total and a gorgeous little box to hold them.
