Special Day Front Step Cards

Hello

We have a couple of front step cards to show you today.

This is a 5 x 7" card with a step strip attached to the front base.
Kaisercrafts' Key to My Heart paper, matted on to pink pearl card was added to all panels.
Ivory seam binding ribbon was wrapped across the front step panel and tied into a bow, before attaching. The sentiment was stamped, die cut into an oval and fixed to a larger pink pearl scalloped oval. This was mounted centrally on the card front.
Roses were stamped, coloured with pencils, die cut, and shaped, using Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, stamps, dies and mould.

As the card would be suitable for a birthday or a wedding, I created labels either each purpose.

This card was made in the same way, but in a different size.
Stampin'up papers were used and the flowers were created using Petite Petals stamp and punch, also from Stampin'up.
Pearls, gems and glitter glue were added to both cards.

Enjoy your day

Diamond Centre Pop Out Card

Hello

This lovely card was created with papers from Kaszazz.

The card base is 130cm square. the card front is covered with dark red card, then panels of two papers with the join covered with rose gold foil tape and wrapped ribbon, tied into a large bow.   The label was die cut in both red and white card and layered together. The greeting was stamped and embossed onto the central section of the white label.

The inside panels of the card were also covered in paper.
A square piece of card was scored into 4, then 2 opposite corners scored diagonally in half. The panels of this piece were covered with papers stamped with sentiments from Kaszazz and Just Rite. This piece was then fixed inside the card.

A panel of the papers was added to the card back to write a greeting.

Gems were added to finish the design.

I hope you enjoy this card. Have a great day.

Recessed Panel Cards

Hello

For todays share we have a couple of recessed or inset panel cards for you.

This card is a 5 x 7" top fold card.
A panel of white card, slightly smaller than the base, was embossed and two curved sections were marked and removed. This was then fixed to green card, and the curved panels were removed leaving a small border along the edges, to show behind the white card.
Honey Chai patterned paper (Kaisercraft) was cut to the same size as the embossed panel and attached to the card base. The embossed panel was then mounted above the paper. Some flowers and butterflies were fussy cut from the papers, and added to the card front along with a stamped and die cut sentiment, and some stamped and die cut leaves. Gems and glitter glue were applied.

This card front was matted with red card followed by patterned paper.
White card slightly smaller than the paper was embossed and the diagonal panel removed. This was added to green card the same size as the paper, and the panel removed, again leaving a small border along the edges. This panel was mounted over the paper panel, and the die cut flower, leaves and berry sprigs added. A stamped and punched label was added to the bottom.
Gems and glitter glue were applied to finish off the design.

Enjoy

Free as a Bird Corner Pop Out Card, - Stampin'up

Hello

Free as a Bird stamp set from Stampin'up was used on this card.

This corner pop out style of card is another card which is easier to make than it looks.

Start with a 21 cm square of card and score in half each way. Diagonally  score and fold the top section from the centre score line to the outer edge. Cut the bottom section up the centre to the score line. These lower sections will fold, one over the other.

Fix coloured card and paper to the panels. Stamp a sentiment and some flowers to the under panel of the lower section.
Create a small easel card for the other panel. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the bird and some leaves and flowers.
Fold the card base panels over, and attach the easel so it is facing forward. Make sure the positioning does not interfere with the folding of the card.

Gems, glitter glue, and glossy accents, add highlights.

Have a great day

Twisted Double Gatefold - Curiousity, Kaisercraft

Hello

This elaborate looking card is not as difficult to make as it looks.
Start with a card size which can be divided in to three equal panels. Score and fold the two outer panels diagonally from top left to bottom right. Cut a shaped piece for the front panel.

Choose your papers and matting card and cut four rectangular panels of each to fit the card surfaces, then cut each panel diagonally in half, making sure that the papers will sit the correct way. Fix to the card.

Add papers to the front piece for the card, then attach to the card base by aligning the centre panel of the card vertically . Embellish your card as desired, adding sentiments, flowers, gems etc.

I stamped and die cut a birthday greeting, which can be added to the inside of the card, if wished, and added a panel to the card back for a written message.

Papers and collectables from Kaisercrafts  Curiousity Collection  were used for my card.

I hope this leaves you inspired to try this fold for yourself.
