Kaszazz Floral Corner-Birthday

Hi there
The card for today is a relatively quick and simple but pretty Birthday card

I have used a wisteria (Stampin'up card) base and rounded the top right corner. To this add a slightly smaller piece of silver foil card which also has the corner rounded.
Emboss a  piece of wisteria card in  Kaszazz Floral corner folder. Trim this slightly smaller than the silver piece, round the top corner and stamp the sentiment using versamark ink, and silver emboss.
Lightly apply some metallic rub (I used two colours) over the floral embossed area and mat this panel on to white card, leaving a very small border. Wrap wisteria and then silver ribbon across the lower left corner and add to the card front using dimensionals. Add pearls to the corners.
An insert has been stamped using Kaszazz Birthday greetings and the vine from Dream Believe Achieve Stamp sets, and attached inside the card.
Make a few in different colours (it is amazing how colour changes the look) and you will always have one ready.
Till next time- keep happy crafting

Hi,

The elegance of black, white and grey is always so striking!! Don't you agree??...

This square, grey based card has a black layer, then a white layer stamped with a Prima Marketing Stamp -Script.  A gorgeous black embossed, framed cameo, is stamped on white and layered on black, positioned slightly off centre, with a sheer bow attached in the bottom right corner.

My next card created using the same colour scheme features a black embossed Dress Form, layered onto grey card and using a black card for the base.  Lots (and lots) of bling and a word banner "With Love" complete this card.

The Frame, Cameo, Word Banner and Dress Form are all stamps from a set by Clear Impressions - Timeless Opulence Collection.

A touch of elegance to share with you!

Stampin'up-Kinda Eclectic

Hello
This time I have been creating with Stampin'up new set Kinda Eclectic
.

This card is gatefold style and uses the new In-colours and moonlight paper. The card base is Honey and the front and inside panels are papered. A piece of meadow card was embossed in the honeycomb folder. The spiral is stamped in honey ink on to white card, the leaves stamped in meadow ink using first and second generation stamping, and the butterflies are in lagoon and blackberry inks. The sentiment is from Good greetings and is gold embossed. This piece is matted to the embossed meadow panel and then to the left side of the card front. The butterflies are stamped a second time on to more white card, punched out with the butterfly punches and layered over the original stamped images. Rhinestones have been added to the bodies and they are then coated in crystal effects. Twine has been tied through a silver button and it is then attached over the spiral. Rhinestones are added to the corners. A panel of white card has been die cut, stamped and attached to the inside panel.

The second card is crumb cake, black and white. The dots are embossed in black on to white card and twine wrapped round the end and tied through a vintage button. The front panel has the spiral embossed in black, the leaves stamped three times and embossed in white. The sentiment from Sassy salutations is embossed in black. The leaves are then stamped randomly over the front in versamark ink to give the watermark effect. This panel is matted to white card and then added to the card base with dimensionals. The dotted section is then added, also with dimensionals. The butterflies have been white embossed and punched out, attached with crystal effects, rhinestones added for bodies and coated with dazzling details. Candy dots are added to each corner. A stamped insert has been attached.
Enjoy.

Kaszazz-Asian Botanicals

Hello
A couple of cards today featuring Kaszazz- Asian Botanicals and Lantern stamps

This card has a mossy green base. A slate panel has been embossed in a chevron folder, the edges distressed, and a length of moss ribbon wrapped around the base, and then attached to the card front.  The bamboo image has been stamped several times using first and second generation stampings, on to white card using Peeled paint distress ink. The reeds image has been partially stamped across the bottom. The edges of the panel have been shaded with the peeled paint ink and lightly distressed. A diamond stencil was placed over the panel and ink sponged through in sections. This was then attached to the card.
The lantern was stamped in versamark on to crumb card and embossed in slate. This was added to the card using dimensionals, and coated in crystal effects. A sentiment has been stamped and embossed to the top left. Two dragonflies were die cut, using Kaszazz flutterby die, embossed with iridescent powder and attached. Rhinestones finished the design. An insert was stamped and added.

This card is a square design. Patterned paper was stamped with the branch image. The reeds were stamped across the bottom and a butterfly to the top right. The edges were distressed and sponged with moss ink. The butterfly wings are highlighted with alcohol marker. This panel was matted with moss card and attached to a pistachio card base. The sentiment was stamped and punched out and framed with a moss label.
The lantern was stamped on to slate card and fully embossed with slate powder. This was then highlighted with gold marker and attached with dimensionals. Rhinestones were added to the label and three of the corners. A stamped insert is added.
Enjoy your crafting. Till next time

Stampin'up-Festival of Trees

Hi Everyone
Today we have the first of this year's Christmas cards. Time is passing so quickly.
For these cards I have used Stampin'up new Festival of Trees stamp set and matching tree punch

The first card is gatefold style and uses cherry cobbler and white card. The two front and the inside centre panel are covered in coordinating papers. Ovals have been die cut from cherry cobbler and white card and a second smaller oval from white card. The smaller oval has been stamped with a sentiment from Endless wishes and embossed in cherry powder, then matted on to the cherry cobbler oval and attached centrally to the card front. The larger white oval has been stamped with the trees and the sentiment from festival of trees, using olive ink, and attached to the inside panel. Two trees have been stamped on white card with olive ink, embossed with dots, one in silver and one in cherry, punched out, and attached to the card front, one taped flat and the other with dimensionals. Three rhinestones have been added to each corner, a star to the top of one tree, and the ovals outlined with dazzling details. The raised tree has then been coated with crystal effects.

The second card is in Mossy meadow. First stamp three trees on mossy meadow card using versamark ink and emboss with gumball powder. Punch out and set aside. Using the punched negative as a stencil, and meadow ink, sponge several tree shapes on to moonlight paper. Emboss in dots folder. Mat this on to slightly larger brushed gold card. Die cut the edge of gold foiled vellum using finishing touches edgelits and tape to card front. Add the tree panel with dimensionals.    Stamp and gold emboss the sentiment and punch out with word window. Attach with dimensionals. Tie twine through a snowflake embellishment which has been coloured with alcohol marker and add to top left corner. Attach two of the punched trees flat, and raise the third one above. Coat the upper tree with crystal effects, and add rhinestones in a random pattern. A stamped insert has been added.
A couple of ideas to get you started.
Till next time - keep happy crafting

The bird from Inspirational flight was stamped on to patterned paper, and a second time on to vellum and white embossed, with both images then cut out. The paper bird is attached to the card with dimensionals and the vellum bird offset above it. Floral washi tape strips and butterflies are attached and rhinestones added to the bird eyes and two corners. An insert has been stamped and fixed in place.

The second card features the butterfly from Inspirational flight, stamped first on paper and then on vellum and white embossed, then die cut using the Flutterby die, and layered, and the vine from Dream, believe, achieve. Tim Holtz - The Chemist, Whimsy Stamps - Steampunk Travels Cards...

Good Morning Beautiful Crafty People,

I have a couple of cards to show you today - Steampunk themed...

My inspiration came from magazines mostly - create a background using stamps and then sponging distress ink colours to takeaway the whiteness of the background card.

Steampunk Spells and The Sky's the Limit.

I used the same ink colours for both of these cards - and then sorry... oops... listed the stamps I used but forgot to list the ink colours... they were all Distress Inks... With this sort of technique you could use any colours really. I have seen some cards etc creating using this technique using reds and blues and greens - gorgeous!

Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous - The Chemist.... Do I need to say anymore?!?!  Love this Stamp! For this card I have also used Stampin' Up's Sense of Time, Stampendous Clockworks and Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Stamp 1.

Now, I have been calling this is a "Blimp" hehe - if it is not a blimp please let me know!!! The "blimp" is from a Whimsy Stamps set - Steampunk Travels. The other stamps I used were Stampin Up's Sense of Time and a Prima Engraver Stamp. The arrow is also a Stampin Up Die.

See you soon

Tri-fold cards

Hello again

Today's cards are both basically the same design.

The first is on a natural white card base with all edges sponged with Walnut Stain distress ink. Papers, slightly smaller then the card, have been cut to fit all panels (I have used two coordinating papers). The papers have been stamped with versamark ink and embossed in silver powder on the dragonflies and stars, and Rustique patina on the sentiments.
The sentiments are from Kaszaaz Dream, Believe Achieve set. The dragonflies are also Kaszazz, with the raised one stamped on vanilla card and die cut using the Flutterby die. The stars are from Stampin'up Simply stars set.
All paper edges are lightly distressed and sponged with walnut ink, then taped to the card base. A small scalloped envelope(Stampin'up) has been die cut and attached to the centre inside panel with a card for a greeting. Rhinestones to the front section of the card complete the design.

The second card is a masculine design, is made the same way but has a gear embossed panel on the front instead of paper. There is a stamped and matted image, embellished with a cog which has been coated in crystal effects attached to the front, and a stamped, embossed sentiment on the centre panel.
The stamps used on this card are Carpe Diem, Cogs and mini messages-Greetings, all from Kaszazz.
The front panel has been rubbed lightly with metallic rub, and some candy dots added to gear and cog centres.
I hope you enjoy these cards.
Keep happy crafting

Summer Afternoon, Timeless Talk, Postage Due, Feeling Sentimental, Postage Collection Stampin' Up Sets....

Pushbikes, Penny Farthings, Bikes with flower baskets...

Hi there, I have created some more Bike themed cards for our friend Bronwyn's Cardiac Challenge. (Refer this post...   http://barbnshellcreations.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/bicycles-bicycles-bicycles-and-cardiac.html)

I created a set of 5 cards using pinks, purple and maroon coloured card, with a common metallic bronze paper for matting.  All the images are stamped with versamark and heat embossed with Judikins Metallic Copper Embossing Powder.

I created a 'paper' box using the envelope maker - I came across this fantastic site which tells you how to use your envelope maker to create a box -  all you need to do is have the measurements of your creation, type these measurements into the site and it works out exactly where you need to punch and score!!!  http://www.thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/  How easy is that!!  Thank-you so much Crafty Owl for making the boxbuster!!!

I have used Stampin' Up Images and Wording for all of the above cards as follows:

Summer Afternoon
Timeless Talk
Postage Due
Feeling Sentimental
Postage Collection
Loving Thoughts
Tea Shoppe

I used 3 Embossing Folders as follows:

Stampin' Up Textured Impressions
Cuttlebug - Spots and Dots and
Mpress - Heather Border

I also used ribbon, brads, rhinestones and tiny flowers.  As well as the cardstock and metallic bronze paper.

The Cardiac Challenge is still a couple of weeks away, so if you wished to donate and have not had the chance, any donations would be greatly appreciated for such a worthy cause!!

See you again soon,

Stampin'up-Traveler

Hello
A couple more cards featuring the great Stampin'up Traveler stamp set

This first card is in the colours of black, white and pool party.
World map is stamped in black on to white card, matted to pool party, and the edges distressed and then sponged with pool party ink, and taped to the black card front.
A piece of pool party card is embossed in clouds folder, wrapped twice with thick twine, three metallic brads inserted down the left side and attached to the upper section. Another piece of pool card is also embossed in the clouds folder, edges distressed, matted to black card with the edges distressed, and attached to the lower section of the card.
The ship, suitcase, passport and camera, and sentiment from Itty bitty banners are all stamped on to white card and cut out, with the ship cut into a rectangle, shaded with pool party ink and matted on to black card. Attach with dimensionals on a slight angle to the upper section.  The case and passport are attached flat to the lower panel, with the camera raised on dimensionals. The sentiment is die cut with bitty banners and attached, raised, over the ship flag. Candy dots are added to the corners of the lower panel.
The insert is stamped with the ship, and a sentiment from Really good greetings.

The second card is black and white and features the train.
The sentiment from Daring Adventure is stamped with versamark ink and white embossed on to black card, then embossed in square lattice folder. This is then matted with white card.
Using Illuminate ink stamp the lower front of the card blank with random images of the passport and camera. The word live is part of a sentiment from Really good greetings, stamped in versamark and white embossed. Attach the stamped, embossed panel to the upper section of the card blank and add candy dots to the corners.
Stamp the train on to white card, sponge the edges with black ink, and mat with a slightly larger piece of white card. Stamp two tickets from Thats the ticket set and punch out. Tape to the back of the train piece and attach it all to the card front with dimensionals. Add a black candy dot to the top left corner. Finish off with a couple of strips of washi tape below the panel.
Add a stamped insert.
This set is so versatile and I hope you have gained a few ideas here.
