Book Page Fold Cards

Hello

When I first saw this style of card fold, it was an open card and I thought it interesting but not really inspiring. Using the folded card as an insert, placing it into an outer card of the same size, made it much more impressive.

This card has a finished size of 15.2 x 12 cms.
A panel of Antique Linen Co-ordinations card was used for matting. The paper used is Passtime crafts. A second panel of the paper was used to fussy cut the bird and rose section at the base. This was mounted over the base image.
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose and Leafy Accents, stamps, die and mould were used to create the large rose and leaves, and Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Florals dies used for the small roses.
The Just for You sentiment stamp and tag die is by Just Rite.

For  the inside, Prima Botanical papers were used.
I first lined the centre of the outer card. All  inside panels were papered. The inside section of the card was then fixed in place, making sure all folds are tucked inside when closed.
The sentiment panel was added to the centre section and the roses and leaves to the corners.
Pearls, gems, Stickles glitter glue and Glossy accents were used for highlights.

This card is finished size of 5" x 7".
It is made in the same wasy as the first one but using different dimensions.
The papers and chipboard cuckoo clock used are Kaisercrafts Homemade collection. The flowers on the front are Tim Holtz Tattered florals die, the inside flowers are a Cheery Lyn die.

This card is also 5 x 7 finished size.
I again altered the inside measurements to add an additional fold to the top and bottom sections.

Sentiment stamp is from Heartfelt Creations Melodious Songbird. Roses and leaves were created using stamps, dies and moulds from from Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose set.

Papers used are Stamperia Music collection. The harp was fussy cut and matted with brushed gold card.

Pearls, gems, stickles glitter glue, glitter gloss pens and glossy accents were used to highlight all cards.
A panel was added to the back of each card for a greeting.

I hope you find these cards inspiring enough to give this fold a try.

Ocean Theme Frame

Good morning,

I created this frame using a chipboard photo frame and papers from Kaszazz.
Papers were cut to fit sections of the frame, then stamped with coral and shell images from Kaisercraft, and embossed with holographic powder. The small fish were stamped and embossed in black. The papers were attached to the front and back sides of the backing board and the edges covered with Distress metallic paint.

A gold foil frame was cut to fit behind the front section and attached to the backing board. The paper panel was attached to the front section, and acetate was cut and fitted behind the window section.
The verse (from StampIt), was stamped and attached to the centre of the backing board.
The edges of the front panel were painted and the panel attached to the back board, leaving the top edge free, to allow a photo to be slipped in behind.
Die cut seahorse, coral, angel fish, turtle, starfish and shells were then added.

The easel stand was painted and attached to the back of the frame.
Wink of stella glitter pen and glossy accents were added to various areas of the die cuts to highlight and rhinestones added for bubbles.

Have a great day.

Pocket Card

Hello

Still with traditional Christmas colours of red and green, we have a pocket card for you today.
The base layer is white, then a glitter card layer and a green embossed layer. The pocket is red with a paper layer and the front greeting panel is white on a red scalloped layer. A white card with the top corners punched was stamped with a sentiment from Kaszazz Christmas cheer gift tags set and slipped into the pocket. The Merry Christmas stamp is also from Kaszazz.
The bells are cut in gold foil card using a die from Cheery Lyn, attached to red base card, then cut out, and fixed to the front sentiment panel.

Ribbon, gold twine, brads and rhinestones completed the design.
Lots of layers but easy to make.

Pocket Journals, Notebooks

Hello

This is a selection of pocket journals/small notebooks which have been covered, and will easily fit into a pocket or handbag. Papers used were from Stampin'up. A ribbon page marker has been added to each book.

This one is embellished with black adhesive lace tape over red glitter paper and four layers of fabric flowers, two of which have been coloured with alcohol markers, which is held together with a brad.

On this cover, dies from Cheery Lyn, Memory Box and IO have been used.

The ship in a bottle is fussy cut from paper, some twine knotted round the bottle neck and an anchor charm added.

The anchor is a Cheery Lyn die and the ships wheel die is from Kaisercraft.

Much more attractive than a plain old journal or notebook, don't you think?
Each of these cover designs would also make a great card. Just add a sentiment.

Enjoy
