Steampunk Spells Layouts - Seymour and Voyages

Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 9 and 10. I have named these ones: Seymour and Voyages.

I have not yet decided which photos to use in this album - the options are endless! When preparing the photo frames, I have adhered only part of the frame and will slip the photo in underneath and then adhere as required.

I hope you have enjoyed my Steampunk Spells Layouts and will be inspired to create many multi- layered layouts!

Thank you for following along with my album and hope to see you again soon!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Keys and Potions

Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 7 and 8. I have named these ones: Keys and Potions.

Have you been following along with my layouts? Have you spotted the antics of black cat? Sometimes he is front and centre - other times he is cheekily peeking out from behind the photo frames...

Have you also spotted the stamped owl and little black heart stamped on every page? I enjoyed creating these pages so much that I think I will create a further 10 pages as I have so many more Halloween papers and elements!

Only 2 more pages to go for this album!
See you again soon!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Faces and Howlet

 Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 5 and 6. I have named these ones: Faces and Howlet.

To prepare these layouts, I chose my base layers and the smaller layers first, then die cut many elements. I pre-planned the photo frames for each page, allowing for three photos to be added to every page in the future. I die cut one larger black cat, spiders, bats, webs, leaves, labels, frames etc for every page. I then laid all ten base pages on my table and spread the elements across each to ensure I had enough for every layout.

I then went through all the Graphic 45 die cuts and ephemera packs and sorted these according to the base pages. I placed all the elements into 10 separate pockets and then created all the layouts one by one. The sequins and rhinestones were all added last.

How are you enjoying these layouts? They are very busy, however I am in love!

Be sure to visit again soon for pages 7 and 8!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Clock and Curious

 Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 3 and 4. I have named these ones: Clock and Curious.

I have included a black cat, spiderwebs, bats and or spiders on every page!

I started with the base page, then layered with a smaller page which is the structure for all the other layers. Tucked in under this smaller page is a pocket which holds Journal Cards for adding details from the future photos. This was also a great way of using some of the ephemera from Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells range.

Back again soon with pages 5 and 6!
Thank you for visiting!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Apothecary & Black Cat

Hello

I have created a 10 Layout album featuring Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells. Below are the first 2 pages which I have named Apothecary and Black Cat.

I will list some of the many, many products used for the 10 pages - the base pages are either Steampunk Spells from Graphic 45, Haunted Harvest from DCWV or a selection from Stampin' Up.

When I created the pages, I have created 'frames' for future addition of photographs. Some of the other products used include: Sizzix Dies - Garden Greens, Cat & Moon and Styled Labels; Stampin' Up Label Punch and Halloween Scares, Mr Funny Bones and Spooky Fun Stampin' Up stamps; a range of Cardstock in oranges, black and metallic silver.

Cobwebs, cats, spiders and bats. Sequins, rhinestones and bows. Frames, leaves, flowers and butterflies - so many products used from my stash!

I hope you love the above pages as much as I do! Be sure to return again soon as I will post the other pages shortly!

See you again soon!

Bo Bunny and My Minds Eye Snow Layout ...

Hi,

It seems really bizarre blogging about a Snow Layout when it is pouring rain outside!!

Another holiday snow layout from me, this one featuring leftover paper from another project (Bo Bunny Head over Heels) and a 12x12 from My Mind's Eye Sleigh Bells Ring Christmas Tartan range.

This is quite a messy layout for me, I have used gesso and Tim Holtz Holiday Knit Layering Stencil.

The hearts are all punched with a Stampin' Up Punch.  The ribbon is also from Stampin' Up. Many rhinestones, a spritz of Perfect Pearls Mist and an underlayer of white cardstock complete my layout.

Don't forget to look for my hidden tag! (Refer to my previous blogs about my layouts - I always try to include a (hidden) tag for personal messages)

Enjoy the snow if you are lucky enough to be skiing at the moment!
In my case - I am enjoying the rain!!

Thanks for visiting!

"Snow much Fun!" Layout...

Good morning,

This is a layout I created a little while ago and have only just added the photo. Red, black and white are always such powerful colours when placed together! 4 different types and sizes of ribbon, tied together with a large knot in the middle form one frame edge for the photo...

Torn paper layered on red, with some flowers and butterflies (I think these are a brand named "Little Birdie") complete the layout.

Snow much fun!
Have a great day!

Castle Dreams...

Once upon a dream...

Walt Disney had a dream - and we are very fortunate to live in a world where one of his dreams - Disneyland - became a reality!!

Disney has many quotes about dreams.  This is one of my favourites.

I also had a dream....  When I was 19, I went to America to Disneyland in Los Angeles and to Disney World in Florida and I was hooked - from then on one of my dreams was to be able to visit again.  My family and I were very excited to visit  Disney Sea in Tokyo (2012) and this year Disneyland in Tokyo!

Thanks Walt Disney! - Dreams - do come true ....

I created this layout for Wild About Scrap Design Team. I am sure If I lived in a city where there is a Disneyland - I would have a yearly pass!!

Follow your dreams,

Tokyo Skytree...

Hello,

Another photo from my family trip to Tokyo - this time a photo of the "tallest Tower in the world" as certified by Guiness World Records in 2011.

Skytree is a whopping 634m High - inside the tower you can go as high as 451.2 m and have a panoramic view of Tokyo and the surrounding areas - breathtaking as you can imagine!

To take this photo, I had to walk a fair way back from the base of the Tower - as it is sooo tall, I wanted to capture as much of the top point of the tower as possible.

According to the brochure the 'roots' or the footings for the tower are 'piled to about 50m deep into the solid ground'.  Imagine the construction for a building like this!!

If you are interested in the 'construction' (hehe) of my layout please visit Wild About Scrap's Blog
for a list of the products and some basic instructions.

Love to Shop.... In Tokyo....

Morning,

Shopping, ah shopping - do I love shopping as much as I love crafting ???  Mmmmm - only if it is shopping for crafting supplies!!

These two layouts feature photos of my two favourite Shopping Streets in Tokyo, Japan.  Takeshita Street in Harajuku and Asakusa Nakamise Shopping Street.  (Can you remember Gwen Stefani's song about the Harajuku Girls and their wicked style? This is the neighbourhood in Tokyo Gwen was singing about) Takeshita Street has a lot of the latest fashions and styles - love going there.  Also in Takeshita Street is one of Tokyo's largest 100 yen shops - Daiso - has multiple floors - just about everything there is $1.05AU - can I go again? Can I, Can I??  Asakusa Nakamise Shopping Street is an actual street full of mini markets leading into a Temple - this is where you go if you are after a lot of souvenirs from Japan -  (trinkets as my Husband would call them).

On to my layouts...  I have used Graphic 45 Bird Song Collection - papers named Shanghai Girls - I have used the other side - the flowers...

As the paper was covered in flowers - I chose to use rosettes as my embellishments. All that paper folding - little bit like origami!!

If you ever have the chance to visit Tokyo and you love to shop - I recommend both of these places!

If you love my layouts and wish to see some photo close-ups, basic instructions and a list of products please visit Wild About Scrap's Blog.

Shop til you drop

Anpanman - A Japanese Superhero

Ohayo gozaimasu! Good Morning!

Don't worry I will give you the english version! (I wish I could speak more Japanese than just a couple of words!)  My next scrapbook layout is of the Japanese animation and book character Anpanman.  He is a superhero who helps children in need -  for example if they are hungry he will feed them as his head is made from a Japanese bread roll filled with bean jam...

Aren't the colours just awesome!?!

Anpanman is one of my Daughter's favourite Japanese characters - we found these toys in a Shopping Street in Tokyo.

If you would like to have more of a look at my layout please visit Wild About Scrap's Blog where I have blogged step by step instructions on how I created my page and a list of the products used.

Don't forget to have a close look for my hidden tag, my heart brad and my LOVE wording - my personal touches to my scrapbook layouts.

Sayonara,
Bye for now, visit again soon
