Magical Cards - Lavinia, Hero Arts, Dylusions & Indigo Blu...

Hello,

Lavinia Stamps have a beautiful range of magical stamps - fairies, dragons, trees, fairy houses and so much more. Here are three cards I have created using Lavinia Stamps and a selection of other stamps to create mythical, magical scenes...

Stamps used on the above card: Lavinia Felicity LAV222, Lavinia Fuchsia, Lavinia Mini Flutterby and Hero Arts Blooming Meadow.

Stamps used on the above card: Lavinia Moments Like These, Dylusions - Oodles of Foliage, Indigo Blu and Stampendous - Butterfly Beauties.

Lastly, stamps used on the above cards: Lavinia Fairy Wish, Lavinia Fuchsia, Indigo Blu and Hero Arts Silhouette Burst.

I created the backgrounds using Distress Oxide Inks, then added all the images with Versafine Black Ink. Added rhinestones to the flower centres etc and finished off the edges of the cards with glitter.

Can't wait to create more of these cards!

Loralie Art Stamps - Still Flower...

Hello,

Flowery cards to share with you today, these feature a Stamp set from Loralie Art Stamps named Still Flower. First, I created the backgrounds with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks, sponging through a stencil to create another 'layer'. I then stamped the flower images on white card and coloured them with a waterbrush and the distress oxide inks.

I left the flowers in the first card plain, meaning I stamped, coloured, cut out and adhered the images to the card.

However, after adhering the flower to the second card, I have doodled on it and around it and even created a doodled border for the card.

I really enjoyed this process and will have to create more cards like this. I purchased this stamp set, plus another Loralie Art Stamps - First Flower set from a Crafty Market, and am yet to create something with the other one.

Doodling means to scribble absent-mindedly, although I am unsure if doodling in the right word for a lot of the doodling we see these days hehehe... I think a lot of todays doodling is not so random!

Happy doodling!

Darkroom Door Photo Stamps...

Hello,

As promised in my previous Darkroom Door Stamps blog, following are some more cards I have created using Stamps from Darkroom Door.  All three backgrounds were again created using Distress Oxide inks in various colours, stamped with the Darkroom Door Image, and layered onto a couple of layers of coloured cardstock.

This first card features DDPS006 Old Truck...

DDCS018 Steam Locomotive...

And finally DDPS034 Homestead...

A pen ruled border, brads and paper slides complete each card.

I have also purchased DDPS003 Country Cottage which is another fantastic Photo Stamp from Darkroom Doors range, which I am yet to feature on a card.

Hope to see you again soon,

Darkroom Door Bold Blossoms...

Hello,

Todays' beautiful cards feature a stamp set from Darkroom Door - Bold Blossoms. I created all three backgrounds using white cardstock and Tim Holtz's Ranger Distress Oxide inks.

Next, I stamped the images, first in black ink and then followed by versamark ink which I heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

After adding a sentiment (also from the Darkroom Door Bold Blossoms set), I layered each white panel onto a black cardstock layer and adhered these to white card bases.

Lastly, I added gold rhinestones across the top and bottom of each card and added more rhinestone accents throughout the flower images and background.

Darkroom Door have a great selection of rubber stamps and stencils, I have a few in my collection! I will feature some more of their sets in an upcoming blog...

Thank you for stopping by,
Enjoy life,
