Charming Duck Pond 03 - Stampin'up

 Hello

Hope you are well and enjoying your crafting.

This is a third set of ideas using Lily Pond Lane papers and Charming Duck Pond stamps and dies from Stampin'up.

For this square card I used Turquoise card and paper for the base. The frame is cut from the reed paper and slightly larger  Peacock card and layered together. This has been mounted using dimensionals. Die cut ducks and a brass dragonfly were placed in the centre. A stamped, coloured and die cut frog, and some die cut reeds, lilies and lily pads were added. The stamped sentiment is layered across the bottom. Ombre dots, glitter glue and Wink of Stella pen were applied for highlights.

Grey Granite card and paper form the base of this card. The reeds were stamped in grey on to white card using 1st and 2nd generation impressions. A panel of the reeds paper was added, along with some stamped, coloured die cut reeds, and a stamped, coloured and die cut duck. The hello friend stamp was masked and stamped on to blue card and attached. Brass dragonflies, cork rounds, dappled dots and pebbles were added. Glitter glue was applied to the rushes for sparkle.

This is a larger 12.5 x 18 cm. card. The paper is cut in three sections, and the centre panel layered on to Balmy Blue card. The side pieces were taped to a peacock card panel and the centre section was mounted with dimensionals. The whole piece was then layered on to the card base. The sentiment is stamped directly on to the paper. Ducks, fussy cut from the papers, were applied with glue dots. Die cut reeds, lilies and lily pads, were added. Ombre dots, brass birds and dragonflies, pebbles and flower gems add highlights, and glitter glue and wink of Stella add sparkle.

This fourth card again has a peacock card base. A paper was cut to size and an oval die cut from the centre. A  Stitched  Shapes oval was die cut from peacock card and matted behind the paper oval. The paper panel was taped to the card base and the oval piece mounted on top. The sentiment from Heron Habitat stamp set was stamped on to paper  and attached to a stitched shapes oval die and added with dimensionals. Ducks were fussy cut from the papers and added with glue dots. Lilies and reeds were die cut and added. Ombre dots, brass birds and dragonfly, pebbles and flower gems add interest. Glitter glue and Wink of Stella were applied for highlights.

Have a great day.

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Seymour and Voyages

Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 9 and 10. I have named these ones: Seymour and Voyages.

I have not yet decided which photos to use in this album - the options are endless! When preparing the photo frames, I have adhered only part of the frame and will slip the photo in underneath and then adhere as required.

I hope you have enjoyed my Steampunk Spells Layouts and will be inspired to create many multi- layered layouts!

Thank you for following along with my album and hope to see you again soon!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Keys and Potions

Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 7 and 8. I have named these ones: Keys and Potions.

Have you been following along with my layouts? Have you spotted the antics of black cat? Sometimes he is front and centre - other times he is cheekily peeking out from behind the photo frames...

Have you also spotted the stamped owl and little black heart stamped on every page? I enjoyed creating these pages so much that I think I will create a further 10 pages as I have so many more Halloween papers and elements!

Only 2 more pages to go for this album!
See you again soon!

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Faces and Howlet

 Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 5 and 6. I have named these ones: Faces and Howlet.

To prepare these layouts, I chose my base layers and the smaller layers first, then die cut many elements. I pre-planned the photo frames for each page, allowing for three photos to be added to every page in the future. I die cut one larger black cat, spiders, bats, webs, leaves, labels, frames etc for every page. I then laid all ten base pages on my table and spread the elements across each to ensure I had enough for every layout.

I then went through all the Graphic 45 die cuts and ephemera packs and sorted these according to the base pages. I placed all the elements into 10 separate pockets and then created all the layouts one by one. The sequins and rhinestones were all added last.

How are you enjoying these layouts? They are very busy, however I am in love!

Be sure to visit again soon for pages 7 and 8!

Card 1 has paper layered on to the base with a stamped, coloured and die cut frog, some die cut reeds, and lily and lily pads added, along with a small bunch of fussy cut reeds.
Card 2 has the ducks cut from the paper using a Spotlight on Nature die. This was then layered on to a circle die cut from gold foil card. Flower gems, brass butterflies and ombre dots were added and glitter glue and Wink of Stella applied.

Steampunk Spells Layouts - Clock and Curious

 Hello

Continuing on with my album of 10 Layouts, below is pages 3 and 4. I have named these ones: Clock and Curious.

I have included a black cat, spiderwebs, bats and or spiders on every page!

I started with the base page, then layered with a smaller page which is the structure for all the other layers. Tucked in under this smaller page is a pocket which holds Journal Cards for adding details from the future photos. This was also a great way of using some of the ephemera from Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells range.

Back again soon with pages 5 and 6!
Thank you for visiting!

Wildly Flowering - Stampin'up

 Hello

The Misty Moonlight background was embossed in the Dashing Designs folder then layered on to a Crumb Cake base. The Wildflower designs dies were cut from Crumb cake and white card, with the white section also being embossed. A paper piece was die cut with the smaller die and layered on to card of the same size. The pieces were then added to the card with the outer frame and the centre paper panel mounted on dimensionals. The blue bow and ombre dots were added and  Stardust pen was used to outline the background and centre panels.

This side opening card has an Early Espresso base and front panel. Sections of the dies were also cut in white card and Moody Mauve paper, then fitted together. Wildflower design images were stamped on the front centre and inside panels. The same image was stamped and die cut and added to the front section with a twine bow and some sparkle gems.

This is a crumb cake base with and embossed misty moonlight background. The white frame is the negative panel from the first card, as is the crumb cake frame from the same card, which has itself been die cut. A die cut paper piece has been place behind this frame. Unbounded Love stamps and dies were used for the sentiment. Stamped and die cut flowers were attached with a moonlight bow, and some ombre dots. Glitter glue and stardust pen were used for sparkle.

The die cut trees are from Peaceful Cabin set, as is the sentiment which has been die cut using a Perennial Postage die. A knot tied in Boho Blue twine, some In Colour dots, and brass birds have been added. Wink if Stella pen and glitter glue add sparkle.

Fussy cut leaves and flowers die cut from the papers have been added. The small crumb cake rabbits have been die cut using In the Grove dies. The sentiment is from Eden's Garden set and has been cut with a die from Mini Treat bag dies. Brass birds, In colour dots, pebbles, Glitter glue and Wink of Stella have been applied.

This design is built on to a Pretty Peacock card base. The papers were torn, edged with marker for definition, and layered on top. The Thoughtful wishes leaf stem is stamped on Vanilla card, painted with ink and die cut. It was then mounted in place and a knot tied in Wheat ribbon added. The ducks and reeds were die cut using Charming Duck Pond dies and fixed in place. The sentiment from Fifth Avenue Floral was stamped directly on the paper. Tiny gems were added to the ducks eyes, and brass birds, pebbles, and foiled gems added. Wink of Stella pen was brushed on to the water and to the reeds.

Frosted Forest 02 - Stampin'up

 Hello

Frosted Forest stamps, dies and masks sets from Stampin'up, have been used for these cards.

Trees were stamped in grey ink, using first and second generation impressions, on to white card. This panel was then embossed in Snowflake Sky embossing folder. The base of the piece was then smeared with texture paste and allowed to dry.
Solid trees were die cut in Mossy Meadow card, and the filigree trees in both white and garden green card. These were layered together with the white being the middle layer. Texture paste was swiped round the edges and over the branches.
The stamped, embossed panel was matted with green card and layered on to the white card base. The green die cut trees were added along with two stamped, die cut birds, and ribboned gems to the corners. Wink of Stella pen was brushed over the texture paste and the birds wings for sparkle.

A panel of Old Olive, and an oval die cut from white card were embossed using Evergreen Forest embossing folder. Trees were stamped on white card with grey ink and coloured using the masks. Texture paste was swiped through the top mask.
Cord was knotted across the green panel and it was then added to the Mossy Meadow base. The white oval was mounted on top with dimensionals, and the trees shaped and layered on the oval. Stamped and die cut birds were added along with brass bird trinkets and milky dots gems.
Wink of Stella pen was applied to the trees and the birds wings, and Stardust pen to the card and oval edges.
