Hello
These Thoughtful Journey papers from Stampin'up are so versatile they can be used in countless ways for many inspiring designs.
Torn paper technique has again been used here. The paper was torn along the design lines, edged with marker, then matted on to a piece of card. This was then layered on to a Wild Wheat card base. Stems were die cut using Thoughtful Wishes dies and Cajun, White and Mossy Meadow card, and fixed to the card front. The sentiment (from Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set) was stamped on to paper, then trimmed and matted on to Boho blue card. This was mounted to the card with a knot tied from Boho blue twine. Brass bird trinkets, In Colour dots and pebbles were added and glitter glue applied.
Patterned paper was cut into two pieces. The right side was matted onto a piece of Mossy Meadow card leaving a small border. This was layered on to a Wild Wheat card base. The remaining paper(left side) has a section removed using Wildflower Designs dies. The larger piece was matted with Mossy meadow card leaving a small border, then embossed in Dashing Designs embossing folder. This embossed panel was mounted to the card front with dimensionals. Wildflower Designs dies were used to cut frames from Boho Blue and Petunia card. These were positioned over the removed die cut section, with the die cut paper section on top. The sentiment is stamped and embossed with white powder on to Mossy Meadow card and attached. A small bow of Boho Blue twine is fixed in place. Sparkle dots, pearls and brass butterflies finish off.
Heron Habitat stamp and die sets are featured on this card.
Thoughtful Journey paper was cut to width and the bottom section die cut using Heron Habitat dies. The same edge die was cut in Boho Blue and Cajun card and the three pieces layered together. All papers were layered on to Wild Wheat card then on to a Cajun card base. The Heron and Rushes were stamped on white card and die cut, then mounted on to the card front. Die cut reeds were added.
Brass dragonflies, In Colour dots, and pebbles add interest and glitter glue highlights the rushes.
Till next time
be happy
