Charming Duck Pond 02 - Stampin'up

 Hello

This a second set of cards featuring Lily Pond Lane DSP and Charming Duck Pond stamps and dies.

These two cards have Balmy Blue bases.
Card 1 has paper layered on to the base with a stamped, coloured and die cut frog, some die cut reeds, and lily and lily pads added, along with a small bunch of fussy cut reeds.
Card 2 has the ducks cut from the paper using a Spotlight on Nature die. This was then layered on to a circle die cut from gold foil card. The card base was matted with the edges of the paper, and the circle image mounted on top. Tropical Chic dies were used for the palm fronds, some reeds cut from the papers, and die cut reeds and lilies were all fixed in place. A strip of paper with the stamped sentiment was mounted  across the top. The sentiment used on both cards is from Heron Habitat set.
Brass dragonflies, ombre dots, glitter glue, and Wink of Stella was applied to both cards.

Card 3 has a strip of paper layered on to the side of a Peacock card base. This then has a very narrow strip of card covering the edge.  The adjoining wider strip of paper is hand cut just above the edge of the hills. This is then matted on to a slightly wider piece of peacock card and the top trimmed to match. The blue sky piece is taped to the card base. The panel is mounted over the top. Some ducks cut from the papers were added along with a small die cut duck and  lily buds. The sentiment was stamped directly on the paper. Flower gems, brass butterflies and ombre dots were added and glitter glue and Wink of Stella applied.
Card 4 has dragonfly paper matted on to Grey Granite card.  Squares were punched from Balmy blue card using 1 3/8" punch. 1 1/4" squares were cut from the papers. The sentiment was stamped on to a plain paper square. All squares were edged with marker and layered. Squares were added to the card with 3 using dimensionals and the remainder taped flat. Brass dragonflies and dappled dots were added and glitter glue and stardust pens applied.

I hope you find some inspiring ideas here.

Till next time
be happy
