Simple Stories - Cozy Christmas - Happy Holidays - Stationery Gift Pack...

Hello,

Sometimes, it is hard to find a gift for someone who has everything, and I usually like to try to give gifts that are useful, so I have created these gift packs which make fantastic gifts for well,  almost anyone!

A stationery pack..... includes a notebook, a pencil, a bookmark, a covered post-it notes book and a co-ordinating tag...

Doesn't it look great all packaged up in a cellophane bag, tied with the tag and then...

placed inside a co-ordinating gift bag!

Here are some of the other packs I have created with their matching bags.

When I created these packs, I had a bit of a "Teacher Thank-you gift" theme happening...
 Can you tell??

Not long now until the Jolly man comes!!

Stampin' Up Flower Shop Gift Card Folder

Hello,

How's things? Today I have another gift idea - everyone I have given one of these folders to seems to love them....

I have used Stampin' Up Ribbon for embellishment on the front and for tying the folder closed, and in various co-ordinating colours I have stamped a selection of flowers from Stampin' Up's Flower Shop stamp set.

Little Leaves is the name of the die I have used for the leaves and the Birdcage and Bird are cut using a Prickley Pear die.

Inside these folders I have included 4 gift cards and envelopes to suit.

These folders do make a fantastic gift - the only problem being no-one has wanted to give the gift cards away!!

See you again soon,

Covered Floral Notebooks

Good Morning, How are you? It is starting to get a bit cooler here in Sunny North Queensland - must mention it has also been raining here!

Japan has these fantastic shops where everything  (nearly everything) costs 100 yen (which is roughly $1 AUD!!).  Love these shops - anyway that is where I purchased some floral notebooks and my post today is about the covers I have made for these notebooks.

I cut cardstock in various colours to size, then embossed the front of the covers with a selection of embossing folders.  On a couple of the covers I rubbed metallic rub-ons to emphasize the embossing. I am in a crafty zone at the moment where I am trying to use up flowers, ribbons and other embellishments that I know I have had in my stash for a while (I really am trying to be good!!!) (Really!!) So the flowers I have used on all of the covers are all pre-made, some are paper ones which I have spritzed and joined different sizes with a brad and the others are glittered chipboard flowers.  Leaves, ribbons and rhinestones complete the covers.

Inside one of the notebook covers - the floral notebooks are beautiful aren't they?

Looking for a quick and easy gift for a friend - Cover a notebook!
Happy Crafting!

Mini Album - Travel - Part 2

Good Morning

Still loving the holidays - so many things to do!!  Moving on to Part 2 of my Travel Mini Album using Kaisercraft's Check In Paper Pad - did you like it so far?  This is the second half.....

Inside the back cover, in the pocket I placed a little zip-lock bag full of goodies to be added to the pages if desired.  The "tags" I hung off the binder are black embossed stamped images from a Stampin' Up set.  When we gave the Mini Album to the Teacher (who had been on a holiday to Italy and France earlier in the year) was so excited - she had Show and Tell with the other Teachers and was going home to put her Ticket Stubs and mementos in her Album!

Have a fantastic day!

Mini Album - Travel

Good Morning,

Hope you are all still enjoying the Festive Season....

Here is my Travel Mini - I am really excited to show it to you!  I made the album itself using my Zutter and black pages.  The papers I used to create the Mini are from a 12x12 Kaisercraft Pad called Check In.

I created lots of interesting features on every page - pockets, flaps, open out/up/down tags, removable photo/journalling mats etc.

The colours in this paper pack were great to work with - reds, purples and lots of neutral colours. This is only the first half of the album, I will show you the next half soon.

Enjoy
