Judikins Dragonfly Card and Necklace Gift Box...

Hello,

Today's project - Necklace Gift Box and matching card feature a beautiful silver embossed dragonfly image stamped using Judikins Dragonfly stamp.  Also featured on this card is Circle Trio from Kaszazz.

The backgrounds for both the Card and the cover of the Gift Box were created using Ranger's Distress Inks. These backgrounds were then multi layered with silver, white and blue cardstock to the box and the card base.

"Happy Birthday" is stamped from Kaszazz Mini Messages Happy Birthday set and the "50" is from Age Birthday set also by Kaszazz.

The cardstock insert of the Gift Box is angled so the Necklace hangs nicely for presentation. White ribbon with a silver stiched edging and rhinestones complete this set.

Dragonfly Cards... Judikins Dragonfly...

We have a couple of dragonfly cards to show you today.  I have used the Judikins Dragonfly stamp which I have coloured with a selection of colours and added glitter and rhinestones to.

The first card has a green card base with a couple of coloured card layers as well as a layer of music patterned paper.  I have also used a honeycomb die threaded with a green ribbon (as a vine growing on a fence).

The second card featuring two dragonflies has a very similar layout to the first card.

I was searching for a dragonfly quote to add to the bottom of my post... I actually found many but have decided to share with you parts of a couple of different ones...

Elephants

Hi

I love elephants, and so apparently do many other people. They are such majestic creatures.
These are the latest elephant cards I have created.

 This card has a white base.
I swiped yellow, orange and pink distress inks across white gloss card, then wiped a wet wipe across the top to blend.  The background was stamped using grey archival ink and Judikins stamps, then the elephant stamped on the lower right. The elephant was also stamped in grey ink, on to grey card, then fussy cut. It was then mounted above the original stamped image. White pencil was used to highlight the tusks and a rhinestone added to the eye. This panel was matted with grey card, then added to the card front. Candy dots were added to the corners.

This card also has a white base. Oatmeal card was stamped in green archival ink, with the Judikins African images, wrapped with chevron ribbon and taped to the card front.
The elephant image was stamped in grey on to white card and coloured with watercolour pencils, then mounted above the ribbon. Rhinestones were added for the eye and to the right end of the ribbon.

This card is grey, with the card front stamped in grey ink with a sanded background stamp. The lower corners were rounded. The elephant has been stamped on to natural ivory card, with grey ink, the edges have been shaded in grey, and all four corners rounded. This was wrapped  across with grey ribbon and added to the card front. A rhinestone was added to the eye and candy dots to the upper corners of the stamped ivory panel.

Birdhouse cards

Hello
A couple of sweet cards today.  Lovely for Mum or that other special girl in your life.

This card front is embossed with a Darice folder and sanded back.
Stamps from Stampin'up and Kaszazz have been used on the clouds and for the birdhouse and coloured with watercolour pencils and stardust pens.
The clouds are die cut using a die from Joy crafts, and the grass and yellow bird are from a die by Marianne designs.
The fence, sunflowers and butterfly are stickers.

The sentiment is from JustRite stampers, and the tree image is by Judikins.

This card also is embossed with a Darice folder and sanded back.
The Victorian birdhouse is Cottage Cutz die, and the arched frame is Tim Holtz by Sizzix.
I taped acetate to the back of the arch and then added the birdhouse panel.
The bird and butterfly are brads, and the daisies are dimensional stickers.

All stamped images on both the front of the card, and the insert are from JustRite Stampers.










A couple of really sweet cards. I hope you agree.

KaiserCraft - Beyond the Page - Mini Gift Album

Good Morning,

Going through my older photos (my Husband went away camping for a week and had my camera with him - so I was spending time looking at previous projects...) I found a mini album I had made as a gift for my Teacher.  The Kaisercraft  mini album had a few chipboard pages as well - I only used the chipboard for the cover and the back and have saved the other pages for another project.

 



Front Cover:  The cover had the windows already cut out, I stamped the background with Judikins Daisy Block - which I have used throughout the book... I stamped the back cover and on some of the purchased flowers.  The Dragonfly is a Scrapmatts Chipboard dragonfly which I glued a yellow piece of paper in behind to co-ordinate with the flowers.

The inside pages: I stamped a heap of images and took them to school and had the children in our class colour them in and write their names - very cute hey??  The images are:  Left: Hero Arts - Girl Holding Flowers, Middle: Hero Arts - Girl with Gift and Right: High Hopes - Froggy Gift.  I remember the children loved being so secretive and trying to not let our Teacher know we were making her a present... shhhh!!!

 

I made a matching card to go with the gift.  On the tag I used Semco Crackle Paint over the top of Semco Metallic copper paint - it was very shiny.  Used flowers and stamp same as above.

 

A treasured memory to keep forever from our Class that Year.
