Pop Pop Poppy Cards

Hi

These cards have been created using the beautiful Pop Pop Poppy stamp from Penny Black.

The stamp was inked with Marvy brush markers and stamped on to white card. The edges were distressed, and the marker run round them. Ribbon was threaded through a rhinestone slide, tied into a bow and wrapped across the panel. This was then added to a white card base and rhinestones added to the corners.

Victorian Rose and olive markers were used for this card.

This card is made in the same way.
Colours used here are Wine and Olive.
A pearl slide was threaded with braid and pearls were used to finish the design.

These cards were so quick and easy to make for a very beautiful and effective card, and can be used for any occasion..

See you again soon

Pencil Holders...

Hello,

Something different today - we have some pencil holders to share with you.  I purchased the glossy black pencil holders and have decorated them using a selection of leaves and flowers.

Underneath the flowers, I have added a white paper doily.

I have used a similar layout with the flowers on all three of the pencil holders and have also used the same colour theme.

These holders would make a beautiful addition to your office table!

Hope you have a lovely day planned,

Chapel Wedding Cards - Kaszazz

Hello

Going to the Chapel.----- A couple of card ideas for those weddings that are coming up.

These cards have been created using the Chapel stamp from Kaszazz. The sentiment is from  Word Montage-Blessings.
Both cards have white shimmer card for the base, and both cards have a front panel of bling card embossed in the roses folder.

For this card the church was stamped on smooth white card and coloured with watercolour pencils and a waterbrush.
The white bling card has an oval die cut from it before being embossed with roses. The church image was taped to the back of the aperture. Organdie swirl ribbon was wrapped across the card, the ends threaded through a rhinestone ribbon slide and a bow tied.
This whole panel was fixed to the card front. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in silver, then tucked under the slide and above the ribbon. White flowers were  added and rhinestones placed for flower centres and to the top left corner.

For this card Opal bling card was embossed with roses.
The church was stamped on smooth white card, coloured with pencils, then fussy cut.
A doily was stamped and white embossed on vellum then cut out. This was added to a scalloped circle, die cut from patterned paper and both pieces added to the opal bling card.

Ivory seam binding ribbon was wrapped across the card, tied into a bow and the whole panel added to the card front. The sentiment was stamped, then embossed in gold powder, die cut with tags#3, trimmed smaller,  pearls added to the ends, then mounted below the ribbon.
The church image was mounted above the doily then coated in glossy accents. Pearls were added to the top left of the card.
The inserts of both cards have been stamped with a sentiment from Wishing You -  mini messages.

Hope you find these ideas inspiring.
Till next time - be happy

Elephants

Hi

I love elephants, and so apparently do many other people. They are such majestic creatures.
These are the latest elephant cards I have created.

This card has a white base.
I swiped yellow, orange and pink distress inks across white gloss card, then wiped a wet wipe across the top to blend.  The background was stamped using grey archival ink and Judikins stamps, then the elephant stamped on the lower right. The elephant was also stamped in grey ink, on to grey card, then fussy cut. It was then mounted above the original stamped image. White pencil was used to highlight the tusks and a rhinestone added to the eye. This panel was matted with grey card, then added to the card front. Candy dots were added to the corners.

This card also has a white base. Oatmeal card was stamped in green archival ink, with the Judikins African images, wrapped with chevron ribbon and taped to the card front.
The elephant image was stamped in grey on to white card and coloured with watercolour pencils, then mounted above the ribbon. Rhinestones were added for the eye and to the right end of the ribbon.

This card is grey, with the card front stamped in grey ink with a sanded background stamp. The lower corners were rounded. The elephant has been stamped on to natural ivory card, with grey ink, the edges have been shaded in grey, and all four corners rounded. This was wrapped  across with grey ribbon and added to the card front. A rhinestone was added to the eye and candy dots to the upper corners of the stamped ivory panel.

I hope you enjoy these cards.

Aussie Cards

Hello

It is great there are now many wonderful products that make it so easy to create our very own Australian design projects.
The background images stamped on all four cards are by Stamp It.

These first two cards have cajun bases, and the background images have been stamped with grey archival ink on to ivory card, and coloured with watercolour pencils and an aquabrush. The wombat and echidna have been die cut from Co-ordinations card using Ultimate Crafts Australiana dies, and layered on top.

Both cards have the same images stamped on the inserts.

This card has a grey base, with the background again stamped on ivory. The platypus is also an Ultimate Crafts die.

This card is also grey and ivory. This time I left the background uncoloured. The kangaroo stamp is by Stamp world. It is stamped in grey ink on to grey card, then fussy cut and mounted on the card.
All cards were finished with candy dots and rhinestones for the animal eyes.
I hope you enjoy these cards.
