Creating with BaRb Blog-Stampin'up-Christmas tags

Christmas tags - gift folder
Hello
Some Christmas tags in a small folder for you today

The folder is made from real red card and the tags are from natural white card.
The tags were sponged first in cherry cobbler  then over the top in olive ink, leaving an uncoloured section in the centre. Three of the cards were stamped with the poinsettia from Joyful Christmas and embossed in cherry cobbler and the other three were stamped with the tree from Special Season and embossed in Gumball. Glitter glue was used for highlights. The stars were stamped in Encore silver. The backs of the tags were stamped with Wishing you.
The front of the folder is stamped with Warmth and Wonder and highlighted with rhinestones and glitter glue. Christmas messages and Best of 25 stamps are used inside the folder.
Real red and silver ribbons were used.
A quick and easy gift, and a great project for a workshop.
Thanks for visiting

Dusty Attic Advent Calendar

Good Morning,

Have you created an Advent Calendar yet? I was asked to create a Dusty Attic Advent Calendar for an online Shop - Wild About Scrap - which is a small online store in Far North Queensland.

I really enjoyed working with the Dusty Attic Products - here is my Calendar...

The Calendar was so much fun to make - the hardest thing was waiting for paint and glossy accents to dry!!  Patience - not my strong point!

There are other inserts to choose from - I chose the Nativity Scene as I didn't already have one in my Christmas Decorations.

How could I resist playing around with the little drawers!!

For a complete list of Products I used and basic step-by-step instructions, check out
Wild About Scrap's Online Store and link through to their Blog page...

Off to create more Happiness in my Crafty World

Christmas Cards

Hello,

More Christmas Cards for you today...  These are also made with the metallic square card bases that I have shown you on previous posts.

I borrowed the candle die that I used on this one from Barb - I think it is a Cheery Lyn Die.
The leaves are a Stampin' Up Die - Little leaves and the Flower is a Poinsettia from a Tim Holtz Mover and Shapers Die.

These two cards are made using the same layout but with different flowers and different embossing folders.  The above flowers are from a Stampin Up set - Secret Garden and the flowers below are from the same die as the Poinsettia on the top card. Stampin' Ups Little Bird has been glossy accented.

I am always impressed with how only using a couple of colours can make something look so fantastic.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

School Themed Calendar

Morning,

I made this calendar using the same design Barb used on her calendar blogged previously.  I had a bit of a challenge trying to decide what to make for my School Principal and then after making a calendar with Barb at one of our Crafty sessions my decision was easy - I'll make a calendar - and being a very sporty male Principal I was unable to use flowers.... so I ended up using a school theme..

I used a variety of products - mostly diecut chipboards for the embellishments.  The bus is an embroidered patch.  The paper plane is stamped.  I embossed the plain blue background with a brick patterned embossing folder.  The mini calendar is a Do-crafts calendar.

So everytime my Principal looks at his calendar, I hope the colours create a little brightness in his day!

Here is wishing you brightness in your day today

Christmas stash- Megs Garden Vintage Christmas

Hello Everyone
I was looking through my drawer of Christmas goodies the other day, and I found this pad of the absolutely beautiful Megs Garden Vintage Christmas papers.
The papers are so beautiful that I almost wanted to save them. I then decided it is better to share them so everyone can enjoy them.
This is what I have done with them so far
To this card I have added Holiday Lamppost die cut and a greeting die cut, both from sizzix dies.

This card uses the same paper but is a gatefold card. The stamped and embossed greeting is Stampin'up.

A diecut and embossed green foil tree with a star brad topper, and stickles glitter glue have been used here.

A double ribbon bow, a stampin'up punched ticket image and a reindeer intrikutz die cut, glitter glue and a tag made from another of the papers dress this one.

Santa in his sled (another intrikutz die) adorns this card. The colours have been added with inka gold and a white gel pen.
I am now in the process of creating some tags and other items with these beautiful papers.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
All materials apart from the papers, dies mentioned, and ribbon are Stampin'up.

Bo Bunny - Cambridge Card Kit

Good Morning,

This morning is extra good - because I am now on school holidays!!  Which means more time for housework....  seriously if you agreed with me just then I think you are reading the wrong blog!!  More time for PaperCraft, beading, crocheting, sewing, etc etc, not to forget more time for shopping for papercraft, beading...............

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Bo Bunny Card Kit - which included all the products you need to create 8 fabulous cards...  Well, you know me I changed it a little bit and actually used the products to make 18 cards!!  The "card" bases in the kit were made from patterned paper - and I prefer cardstock based cards - so I cut up the kits "cards", used my own cardstock and created 18 cards...

The kit included, chipboards, stickers, rub-ons, die cut elements and instructions to make the card as pictured on the pack.

Here are all of the cards I created - love the colours...

The "it's your day" on the above card (and another card further down) and the "Happy Birthday" on the three cards below were the only stamps from my own stash that I used - all the other words were rub-ons from the kit.

As you can see I did not follow Bo Bunny's instructions by making their cards - I just designed my own and when I was making them I was thinking in sets of three cards as per the way I have photographed them.

As the card above says...
Thanks for being there!
