Birthday Cards - Make It Crafty - 60s Fashion Girls...

Hello,

Bright, swirling colours, psychedelic colours, tie-dye shirts and long hair - all commonplace in women's fashion history in the 1960s. Make it Crafty's stamp set - 60s Fashion Girls is a great representation for these signature fashions!

Above left is Holly Rose and above right is Cynthia.

Above left is Crystal and above right is Melody.

Lastly, this is Felicity. There is one more stamp in the set - Desiree. I have used coloured card bases for all of the cards, layering with white cardstock and patterned papers from a selection of  Kaisercraft Paper Pads. Flowers are also from Kaisercraft and the Happy Birthday wording is a Stampin' Up Stamp - Itty Bitty Banners. I have also used a couple of tags for layering and a punch from Fiskars to create these cards.

How many of today's fashions were influenced from the 60s style and trends?

Covered Notebooks featuring Dusty Attic, Kaisercraft, Make It Crafty, WOW Chipboards etc...

Hello,

Today's post is a bit of a long one... 7 notebooks - all purchased notebooks of which I have decorated the front covers or part thereof, featuring chipboard pieces from various companies. Paper and card layers, brads and rhinestones were also used to embellish these covers.

Notebook 1 features Large Cogs from Kaisercraft - painted with gold paint and coated with Ranger's Glossy Accents.

Notebook 2 features Dusty Attic's Anchors - simply painted with gold paint. Rounding the corners on the right hand side of the card layers to match the notebook is a tip to change the overall appearance.

Notebook 3 features Dusty Attic's Birdcage #2. This notebook already had the black binding with the black elastic enclosure. I adhered the birdcage, bird and rhinestones directly to the patterned cover, also adding a strip of gold glitter washi tape down the left hand side.

Notebook 4 features an amazing die from Dusty Attic called Devine Divas, which I coated with a glitter paint. The beautiful pink laced frame is a paper frame from my stash - unknown brand.

Notebook 5 features a winged heart from Make It Crafty - Steampunk Hearts, painted in black and coated with Ranger's Glossy Accents.

Notebook 6 - I am unsure of the brand of this frame and the butterflies - both from my stash but had no packaging. I have left these chipboards raw to co-ordinate with the gold colour of the notebook.

Notebook 7 features 2 corner dies - both from WOW Words or Whatever, one again painted in black and coated with Glossy Accents. This notebook also had a patterned cover.

Phew made it to the end! Are you a notebook addict like myself?
