Outer Space Birthdays - Uniquely Creative

Hello

We have some Birthday card ideas for all those budding astronauts out there.
Out of This World and Have a Blast,  papers, stamps and dies from Uniquely Creative were used to make these cards.

The Mission Control sentiment is from Kaszazz, and the Happy birthday die is by Karen Burniston.
Stamped images were coloured with Alcohol markers. Gems, glitter glue and sequins were added for highlights.

Blast off to a happy day.

Construction Cards - Kaszazz

Hello

We all know that boys (of all ages), and some girls, love big machines and building things, and don't mind a bit of dirt, so these cards are aimed towards them. Stamps and papers from Kaszazz were used for these creations.

The machines images were stamped with black Archival ink on to yellow card then fussy cut. Black alcohol marker was used to highlight sections. Brads were added to wheels.
Sentiments were stamped on to the background papers and added to white card bases. Torn papers were layered on and the machines added. An enamel dot was added to the top left corner of each card.

Myths & Magic - Stampin'up

Here are a couple of ideas for kids cards, featuring stamps, dies and papers from Stampin'up Myths and Magic set.

For the first card, the cloud paper was added to the card front, then a second torn paper layered to the lower section, and a strip of washi tape added. A scalloped oval was die cut from purple star paper and tucked behind the edge of the torn piece. A stamped and coloured dragon and a knight were added. The castle is cut from patterned paper. Sentiment labels were stamped and die cut and added, and rhinestones finished off.
The second card uses the negative piece from which the purple star oval was cut, with a glitter card frame behind the aperture. Stars were stamped on to the card base in the oval area. The wizard is stamped, coloured and die cut.

Mermaids and seahorses were stamped, coloured and die cut, then layered over die cut ovals onto a paper covered card base. Flourishes are die cut from glitter card. Rhinestones added to finish off.

Stickles glitter glue and glossy accents were used to highlight some areas.

Birthday Cards for Kids

Hello

Do you know a little someone who is having a birthday?
Here are a couple of ideas for cards for them.

This card was a special order. The happy birthday is cut from a die by Kaszazz. The Grandson and the #2 are dies from Stampin'up. A dinosaur (Stampin'up - No bones about it set) and tracks was stamped on to white card, then the dinosaur stamped a second time on to more white card, and fussy cut. A leaf frond was embossed then lightly chalked, behind the stamped dinosaur, the die cuts were added, then the panel was matted to patterned paper then on to a white card base. The cut out dinosaur was mounted on to the card. A hand drawn border was added to the panel, and a couple of candy dots finished the design.

These cards have the magical touch for those who love princesses, knights in shining armour, and of course, unicorns.

Princess card coloured with watercolour pencils, and the other two with alcohol markers. Gemstones and touches of glossy accents were the final additions.

The little ones would love these cards.

Boys Birthday Cards - Kaszazz Boys Toys

Hello

These boys card have been created using Kaszazz Boys Toys, Frame, and Happy Birthday stamp sets.

All cards have a white base card, blue mount card, and use Early Years papers. The sentiment has been stamped directly on to the patterned paper. Archival ink is used.

Brads, ribbon, buttons and twine are used to embellish.

All cards have a stamped insert, and I have die cut numbers which can be added to  the card front to create an age birthday card.

Inspiration for those birthday cards for the little boys in your life.

Children's Cards....

Hello,

Don't you love school holidays - I am always able to catch up on a few things I have wanted to create! Yesterday I made some children's cards - Happy Birthday 1, 2 and 3.

I used some patterned paper - magazine freebies and the paper from the 4 cards on the right was in a cheapie mixed pack from Sam's Warehouse or Overflow...

I think this one is my favourite...

Critters - Kids cards

Hello Everyone

I am afraid I haven't shared anything for a while, so today I am back with a couple of cute cards for the little ones

 





This first card has a blue textured  base to which I have added a panel of Woodland patterned paper, matted with dark green card. The tree, owl and rabbit are from a Cheery Lyn die, the leaves are an IO die, and the clouds a Joy Craft die. I have coloured the tree, the owl and the rabbit with markers and a white gel pen, and attached them all with glue dots. The Happy birthday birthday sentiment is stamped and embossed with terracotta powder. Black stardust pen was used to draw in the three birds and to highlight the rabbits eye.
The insert is stamped using Basic grey and Woodware images.

 







This second card has a purple base, and uses paper from the same pad. In this case I first embossed the paper in a leafy tree folder, stamped the small mushroom images, and matted with chocolate card before attaching to the card base. I used the same clouds die, stamped the sentiment in chocolate and attached with glue dots. The little critters are from the same Cheery Lyn die, coloured with markers, and coated with crystal effects. They also are attached with glue dots. The critter eyes and the mushrooms are highlighted with stardust pen. The insert is stamped with a Kaisercraft image using chocolate ink.
