Book Page Fold Cards

Hello

When I first saw this style of card fold, it was an open card and I thought it interesting but not really inspiring. Using the folded card as an insert, placing it into an outer card of the same size, made it much more impressive.

This card has a finished size of 15.2 x 12 cms.
A panel of Antique Linen Co-ordinations card was used for matting. The paper used is Passtime crafts. A second panel of the paper was used to fussy cut the bird and rose section at the base. This was mounted over the base image.
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose and Leafy Accents, stamps, die and mould were used to create the large rose and leaves, and Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Florals dies used for the small roses.
The Just for You sentiment stamp and tag die is by Just Rite.

For  the inside, Prima Botanical papers were used.
I first lined the centre of the outer card. All  inside panels were papered. The inside section of the card was then fixed in place, making sure all folds are tucked inside when closed.
The sentiment panel was added to the centre section and the roses and leaves to the corners.
Pearls, gems, Stickles glitter glue and Glossy accents were used for highlights.

This card is finished size of 5" x 7".
It is made in the same wasy as the first one but using different dimensions.
The papers and chipboard cuckoo clock used are Kaisercrafts Homemade collection. The flowers on the front are Tim Holtz Tattered florals die, the inside flowers are a Cheery Lyn die.

This card is also 5 x 7 finished size.
I again altered the inside measurements to add an additional fold to the top and bottom sections.

Sentiment stamp is from Heartfelt Creations Melodious Songbird. Roses and leaves were created using stamps, dies and moulds from from Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose set.

Papers used are Stamperia Music collection. The harp was fussy cut and matted with brushed gold card.

Pearls, gems, stickles glitter glue, glitter gloss pens and glossy accents were used to highlight all cards.
A panel was added to the back of each card for a greeting.

I hope you find these cards inspiring enough to give this fold a try.

Till next time
be happy
