Hello
Framed Scenes stamp and die set from Stampin'up is the basis of these cards.
The background panel of card 1 was stamped, tied with knotted twine and attached to the base. The image was stamped, painted with inks, and attached behind the die cut frame. This was then mounted on to the card.
Card 2 has 2 layers of papers as the background, with the stamped, coloured, and framed image centred on top. Die cut sail boats were attached.
Brass bird trinkets and gems were added to both cards.
This card is side opening matchbook style, with the background paper reversed on the spine, and the frame mounted on to a narrow strip of the same paper. Knotted twine is fixed to the frame corner. Gems, birds and pebbles add interest.
The background panel is embossed in woodgrain folder and shaded with ink, before fixing to the base. A negative die cut frame from a previous project was added, and the stamped, coloured and framed image mounted on top. Die cut pine trees and small, stamped and die cut rabbits (from Regal Reindeer set) were added, along with gems and birds.
The back panel is embossed in eyelet folder and the paper piece added before fixing to the base. The paper panel from Storybook friends papers was die cut with the oval frame, then positioned over the stamped and coloured image, This was then mounted on to the card. Gems, birds and die cut rabbits from In The Grove were added.
I hope you find these ideas inspirational.
Have a great day
Till next time
be happy
