Hello
These cards were created using chipboard bits and pieces left from previous projects.
This was a 2 layer chipboard flower. The layers were separated, painted with gesso, then sponged with ink. It was glued back together, a gem added, and the petals highlighted with stickles glitter glue. The leaves were layered with green adhesive paper and veins scored into them, then sponged with the yellow ink. Yellow pearl card and white card die cut frames were attached to embossed white card, the edges shaded, then layered on to yellow card, and attached to the white card base. The flower and leaves were attached, along with a sentiment label, a gemstone butterfly, and three gems in the top corner
The flower on this card was separated, painted with gesso, then coloured with alcohol ink markers. A hole was punched through the centre of the rejoined pieces and stamens threaded through. Stickles was again used to highlight.
The chipboard butterfly was coloured with Stardust pens then coated with glossy accents. the leafy flourish die cut has veins drawn in with green Wink of Stella pen, and then highlighted with clear Wink of Stella. A stamped sentiment, a gold yarn bow, and gems were added.
The chipboard bird and wing were sprayed with ink and mounted over glittered chipboard feathers. The butterflies on the script paper were coloured with silver Wink of Stella and gems added to the bodies. Paper flowers and a stamped sentiment were added to finish off.
Enjoy
Till next time
be happy
