Wild and Free cards

 Hello

To make these cards, I first created the backgrounds. Using watercolour card and a fairly dry brush and thick watercolour paint, the foreground and sky areas were painted first. A darker blue was used over the top to shape the mountains, then green was dabbed across the middle area for a tree line. Darker brown strips were brushed on to the ground area.

Once the paint was dry, the small animals, birds and trees from Wild and Free stamp set were stamped in place.

The larger animal images were stamped on to white card, coloured with pencils and fussy cut.

For cards 1 and 3, strips of pattern paper were added to the coloured base card.
For card 2, the base was layered with coloured card, then the strip of paper. The painted and stamped panel was then mounted centrally on the card.
The panels for cards 1 and 2 were layered on to coloured card, then mounted on to the card fronts.

The focal images of the animals were then mounted on to the cards.
Pearls and glossy accents were applied.

Thanks for visiting.

Till next time
be happy
