Autumn Woodlands

Stamps and papers from a magazine gift were used for these cards. The card bases are tent fold and have been layered with a contrasting colour card. Papers were cut, wrapped with knotted ribbon or twine, then layered on top.

For the fox card, different sized circles were die cut from 2 pieces of card and the frames glued together. The fox was stamped on to white card sized to fit behind the circle aperture, coloured with pencils and fixed to the back of the frame. This was then mounted on to the card. Stamped, coloured and fussy cut leaves, mushrooms and acorns were then fixed in place along with gems.

For the squirrel card, a white panel was sponged with green and blue inks, layered on to coloured card, then mounted on the base. The squirrel, leaves, mushrooms and acorns were stamped on white card, coloured, fussy cut, and fixed in place.

A panel of white card had a circle mask placed for a moon and the remainder sponged with blue ink. The mask was removed and yellow shading added. The stamped, coloured and fussy cut images were then added along with the gems.

Glossy accents was used to highlight eyes, noses, beaks, acorns and mushrooms. Wink of Stella glitter pen was added to the autumn leaves and acorns.
