Hello
These great Aussie Christmas cards were created using stamps and papers from Greetings from Australia collection by Kaszazz.
Sketchy Koala and Sketchy Santa hats were stamped on to white card, coloured with pencils and a water brush, then fussy cut.
G'Day it's Christmas is part of a larger stamp which was masked, stamped on to white card and cut down. Have a Good One was stamped on to pattern paper and cut down.
The card base is a folded card which has an aperture cut from the front half. Acetate was cut to fit over the aperture and Garland paper was cut to create a frame over the top. Wreath paper was cut to fit the inside back of the card and attached.
The fussy cut koala image was added, making sure it could be seen through the front window. The sentiment was then fixed in place.
Gum flowers, leaves and holly leaves were fussy cut from wreath paper and added to the top left corners of the window. G'Day it's Christmas was layered on to garland paper, the Santa hat added, then mounted on the card front.
The base for the Kookaburra card was created in the same way, only with a circular aperture.
The inside back of the card was covered with green card, then layered with wreath paper, which was first stamped with the gum wreath and the Have a good one greeting. Fussy cut gum flowers and leaves were added.
The front of the card was matted with green card, then acetate, followed by wreath paper.
The Kookaburra was stamped on white card, coloured with pencils, then fussy cut and added over the top.
G'Day it's Christmas was matted on to green card and mounted on the card front, along with fussy cut gum flowers and leaves.
Gems, pearls, glitter glue and glossy accents were used to highlight sections of both cards.
Till next time
be happy
