Candlelit Christmas 3 - Heartfelt Creations

Hello

This set of cards again features the papers, dies and stamps from Candlelit Christmas.

This card front panel was layered on to blue card which covers the card front. The large candle image has been stamped, coloured with inks, die cut and mounted inside the oval. Holly vines and leaves, and poinsettias die cut from the papers, moulded and assembled, were added around the candle. A sentiment from the papers was tucked in. Gems, glitter glue and stardust pens were used for highlights.

The design for this card mimics the design on the paper panel. I die cut the centre image and matted it on blue card.  The card was layered with red card, then the paper panel placed on top. Starlight border was die cut and added over the printed design along the edges. The candle image was mounted in the centre, and the starlight corner piece added on top. Holly vines, leaves and poinsettias were next, with a ticket tucked behind. Gems, glitter glue, glossy accents, and stardust and Wink of stella pens were used.

To make this card I cut away the front of the base leaving only a 2.5 cm section. The starlight circle die was cut in white card, which I then layered on to acetate.
A square card paper panel was added to the inside back of the card, after first attaching the Noel ticket with a brad. The sentiment was taped on. A strip of paper was added to the other inside panel.
For the front of the card, the acetate lined circle was taped on and paper, matted on to blue card laid over the top. A holly vine, holly leaves, and poinsettias were added.
Gems, glitter glue and glossy accents finished off.

I hope you are enjoying these cards and finding the ideas inspiring. There are more to come.

Till next time

Stampin' Up Mini Pizza Boxes...

 Hello

Just sneaking in a non-Christmas post hehehe! These mini pizza boxes from Stampin' Up are sooo cute!

After assembling the mini boxes, I have created 4 mini cards to be placed inside each box.

The beautiful papers for the above and below sets are from Die Cuts with A View Paper pads.

The papers below are from Stampin' Up.

I have used a selection of flowers from various companies with either rhinestones or ''flower" centres.
The top of the box has been decorated to co-ordinate with the cards and each card has an envelope to suit.

I has so much fun creating these minis!
Until next time,

Candlelit Christmas 2 - Heartfelt Creations

 Hello

Here is another set of the cards created using Heartfelt Creations Candlelit Christmas, stamps, dies and paper pad.

These cards have been made in the same way as the previous set. To this card I have added the lacy Festive Holiday die cut in white, a holly branch and sprig from Festive Holly collection, and some ornaments from Merry and Bright collection. Glossy accents, Wink of Stella pen and glitter glue add highlights.

To this card I have added sections of the Starlight border die, and a pine branch and cones, and trees from Merry and Bright Collection. Gems, Glitter glue and Wink of Stella pens were used.

This next card is a little different. This is a 5" x 7" card.

A large oval shape was die cut from the card front and from the patterned paper sized to fit the card. Acetate was fixed to the card front and the patterned paper taped on top. The Decorative oval was die cut in white card and glued in place. The inside back of the card was covered in patterned paper and the candle die cut added. Starlight border is cut from red foil card and glued on. The fussy cut sentiment was positioned and then added.

Poinsettias and holly leaves were added with gems to the holly leaves and and to the top corner. Pearls were added to the decorative oval. The inside image of the card was highlighted with stardust pens and glitter glue, and the outside front with glitter glue and small star shaped gems.

I hope you like them as much as I do.

G'Day I'ts Christmas - Kaszazz Sketchy Koala & Kookaburra

Hello

These great Aussie Christmas cards were created using stamps and papers from Greetings from Australia collection by Kaszazz.

Sketchy Koala and Sketchy Santa hats were stamped on to white card, coloured with pencils and a water brush, then fussy cut.
G'Day it's Christmas is part of a larger stamp which was masked, stamped on to white card and cut down. Have a Good One was stamped on to pattern paper and cut down.
The card base is a folded card which has an aperture cut from the front half. Acetate was cut to fit over the aperture and Garland paper was cut to create a frame over the top. Wreath paper was cut to fit the inside back of the card and attached.
The fussy cut koala image was added, making sure it could be seen through the front window. The sentiment was then fixed in place.
Gum flowers, leaves and holly leaves were fussy cut from wreath paper and added to the top left corners of the window. G'Day it's Christmas was layered on to garland paper, the Santa hat added, then mounted on the card front.

The base for the Kookaburra card was created in the same way, only with a circular aperture.
The inside back of the card was covered with green card, then layered with wreath paper, which was first stamped with the gum wreath and the Have a good one greeting. Fussy cut gum flowers and leaves were added.
The front of the card was matted with green card, then acetate, followed by wreath paper.
The Kookaburra was stamped on white card, coloured with pencils, then fussy cut and added over the top.
G'Day it's Christmas was matted on to green card and mounted on the card front, along with fussy cut gum flowers and leaves.

Gems, pearls, glitter glue and glossy accents were used to highlight sections of both cards.

Candlelit Christmas - Heartfelt Creations

Hello

These cards were created using the stamps, dies and paper pad from Heartfelt Creations, Candlelit Christmas collection.

The base for this card was made by placing the outline die of Decorative Circles frame over the folded edge of card, making sure not to cut into the fold.. A second piece of card was then cut using the whole outline die, for the front of the card. The filigree shape was then cut in blue and fixed on top. An image panel from the papers was die cut with the eyelet circle die, and layered on to a slightly larger circle die cut from silver foil card. This was then mounted on to the card front. A Poinsettia and some holly leaves were die cut from the papers, shaped and added, along with a sentiment, also cut from the papers. Gems, glossy accents, glitter glue and stardust pens added highlights.

The inside of the card back was lined with paper, and die cut circles added for a greeting and a message.

A card panel from the papers was used for this card. The centre of the panel image was die cut, and stamped then layered on to red card. The outer section was also layered on to red card. A panel of green patterned paper was also layered on to red card.
The front of the white card base was matted with green card. The paper panel was taped to the left of the card and the frame section then added. The centre image section was mounted in place. The poinsettias were die cut from red card, moulded and assembled, then added to the card with some die cut holly leaves. A sentiment panel was cut from the papers, layered on to red card, the ends cut into a fishtail design and fixed across the bottom of the card. Gems, stickles glitter glue and glossy accents finished off.

This card also uses a card front panel from the papers. The centre oval design was die cut, layered on to a larger oval cut from blue card, then an even larger oval cut from gold foil card. The lacy fan shape was cut from vanilla card using the festive holiday die.
The card was assembled by layering the vanilla card base with blue patterned paper then the outer section of the image panel with the gold foil oval. The lacy die cut was added, then The patterned oval matted with the blue oval was mounted on top. The sentiment was next then the assembled poinsettias and holly leaves. Gems and glitter glue were the final touches.

I have created many more cards from this collection and will share them over the following weeks.

Enjoy

G'Day it's Christmas - Kaszazz Sketchy Emu 1 & 2

 Hello

To create these fun cards I used stamps and papers from Kaszazz - Greetings from Australia collection.

I first cut a tent fold card base, then cut a rectangular aperture from the card front. The same size rectangle was used to cut an aperture into each of a slightly smaller piece of white card to fit inside the card front, and from Garland paper for the card front. The same rectangle was also cut from even smaller red card to form a frame for the front.
The emu was stamped on to vellum and coloured on the back with markers.
Garland paper was cut to fit the inside of the card back and fixed in place.

                  Inside back of card

To assemble the card front the emu panel was added, the paper layered on top and then the red frame. The G'day it's Christmas sentiment is part of a larger stamp which was masked, then stamped and fussy cut to size. This was then fixed across the base of the card. A small Santa hat was stamped, coloured and fussy cut, then added to the emu. Some gum leaves and flowers were fussy cut from wreath paper and added to the top corner. Have a Good One sentiment was stamped on to the reverse of garland paper and added inside the card. Gems were added to the emu eyes and the card front corners, and Stickles glitter glue to the hat and gum flowers.

This card is much more simple. It is an A5 card scored and folded at the 7.5 cm line. Panels of Garland paper were cut to fit both inside panels and the front of the card. Have a Good One was stamped onto the reverse of a piece of Wreath paper and die cut into a circle. This was attached to the inside back of the card, and gum flowers and leaves fussy cut from wreath paper and added. A second circle of the same paper was die cut and attached to the other side for a message.

For the front of the card the emu, the Santa hat and the sentiment were stamped on to white card. The images were coloured with pencils and a water brush, then fussy cut. The hat was glued onto the emu, and the image then mounted to the card front. The sentiment was added above.

Pearls were coloured with Tri Blend markers and added to the eyes and corners of the card. Glitter glue was used on the flowers and Santa hat, and glossy accents on the emu's beak.

I hope you enjoy these fun cards.
