ABC Spiral Notebooks - Die-namics Apple Die...

Hello,

As soon as I saw the Apple Die from Die-namics mftstamps, I knew I had to buy it! An apple for the teacher was all I could think of! I have used this die many times including on the covers of the following notebooks...

Using a selection of patterned papers various brands, cardstock, washi tape, brads and rhinestones, I have created these fabulous covers for the A5 sized spiral notebooks.

I have also outlined the apples using glitter stardust pens for some added detail.

According to google search...

While the true origin of this small red gift is somewhat of a mystery, the apple is a powerful symbol of knowledge and education. ... According to Gourmet, in the 1700s, poor families in Denmark and Sweden gave teachers baskets of apples as payment for their children's educations.

Interesting fact...
I wonder if your teacher would like an apple today?

Night Forest - Lavinia

Hi

Do you have a forest at the bottom of your garden. You may find some of these friends if you visit at night.

Backgrounds were created on white card using distress inks. Images by Lavinia stamps were stamped with versafine inks, additional colour added with wink of stella glitter pens.
Completed panels were then attached to co-ordinating coloured card bases, and stickles glitter glue added for highlights and to form the frame.

Add a little magic to your life.

Covered Notebooks - Kaszazz Gentlemen's Business, Kaisercraft Decorative Bird, Stampin' Up Greenhouse Garden...

Hello,

Sharing with you some more covered notebooks - these are so user friendly - cover embellishments are created with minimal layers so notebooks can travel quite easily in your handbag/workbag.

From back left: notebook covers 1 and 2 were created with patterned paper, Glasses/moustaches cover was created using Kaszazz stamp set Gentlemen's Business, Cherries is a patterned paper and Kaisercraft's Decorative Die - Bird was used with washi tape to create the next cover.

Front from left: Stampin' Up's Fabulous Florets stamp set was used for the first cover and Stampin' Up's Greenhouse Garden stamp set for the next cover.

Inside the cover of each notebook, I have created a pocket which holds two tags.

I must admit I think I have an addiction to notebooks! Do you?
Hope to see you again soon.

African Animals - Darkroom Door

Hello

For these cards I have used stamps from Darkroom Door, and  Stampscapes, and dies from Find it Trading.

For this card I masked and coloured a white card panel with distress inks then stamped Stampscapes sun and branch with archival ink. Find it trading Wild animals were die cut and added on top. The panel was then attached to a coloured card base.

The above two cards were created in the same way with images from Darkroom Door African animals stamped, then sections of die cut Wild animals frame cut and attached.

This card was coloured and stamped and has the full die cut frame added.

Here, the background was coloured, the image stamped, then water added to the background to blot out some of the colour.

Card / Tag Packs - Dina Wakley Template, Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri and Kaiser Flowers...

Hello,

How are you? We hope you are having plenty of time to spend crafting! Todays selection of creations include a Cards with Envelopes Pack and two Tags with Envelopes Packs.

The first pack was created using The Crafters Workshop Dina Wakley Mini Vine 6x6 Template, stencilled with a glittery brown acrylic paint and embellished with paper flowers with pearl centres. The back of the tags were stamped using Darkroom Doors Calendar Set.

This next set of Tags with Envelopes was created using a Motif Damask Stencil from scrapbookingncraft with a glass bead paint, Stampin' Up Stamp Set Papillon Potpourri - Butterfly and once again the Darkroom Door Calendar stamp set.

This set is created using a purchased set of black cards with envelopes. I have white embossed flowers from a Kaiser Stamp set called Flowers on to black card which I have adhered to a white layer and then adhered to the black card base.

Be sure to take some time today to create!
Thanks for visiting,

Angler - Kaszazz

Hello

This set of cards features Kaszazz Silhouette Angler and Riverbank stamp sets.

The same stamps, inks, colours and processes have been used for each pair of cards. One set was created on matte card and the second set on gloss card. The gloss panels are mounted on white card bases and the matte panels on coloured card bases.
Images were first stamped with Staz-on ink, then the backgrounds shaded with distress inks. The clouds on the fourth card were stamped with archival ink.
A totally different look is created according to the base materials used.

Home, Magical - Lavinia

Hello

Where do Fairies live?

In a castle?

In a mushroom?

These magical cards have been created using Lavinia stamps.
Image panels are white bases which I coloured with distress inks and using masking techniques.
Images were stamped over the top with Versafine inks, and some sections highlighted with Wink of Stella glitter pens in various colours.
The panels were then added to a card base of a co-ordinating  colour.
Stickles glitter glue was added to highlight the design, and to frame the image panel.

Will you be checking the bottom of your garden tonight?

Enjoy
