Glitz - Yours Truly Floral Tri-Fold Card

Hello, how's things?

Todays card is a beautiful Tri-Fold card created using a fabulous Floral Paper from the Glitz - Yours Truly range named Floral.  The gorgeous colours are Autumn colours so I used Stampin' Up's More Mustard for the base card and Very Vanilla for the Wording, inside panel and underneath layers for the butterflies.

The "Happy Birthday" is die-cut using an Elizabeth Craft Designs Die.  I have also used Glossy Accents on the wording.

The Gold Vine is a Cre8tive Border Icons Stamp which I gold embossed on the inside panel as well as the front and inside back panels.  Throughout the card and on the butterflies - I have gold embossed a Confetti Stamp from Stampin' Up.

I punched out the butterflies with two different sized Stampin' Up Butterfly punches, double layered both sizes and used red rhinestones for the bodies.  I added a gold ribbon down the edge of the front.

Here is a closed view of the card.

Hope you are having a crafty day!

Inspirational Journal cover

Hello Everyone

For my latest project I have been playing with several mixed media products. I intend this piece to be the cover for an art journal.
All the products used are from Kaszazz.

I have based it on a chipboard  6x6 drilled album cover. The background is created using Distress paints in Stormy sky and bundled sage then brushed over with gesso. Patterned paper strips were added using glue and seal then more gesso. The crumbling brick wall is gesso sponged over the brick stencil, then when dry, sponged with fired brick and walnut stain distress inks. The images were then stamped using images from Silhouette leaves, Happy butterflies, Net, Springtime and the vine from Dream, believe, achieve sets and archival inks. Washi tape butterflies and inspiration were added. Sentiments from Affirmations were stamped and cut out, the bird from Inspirational flight was stamped on to gessoed card then cut out, and all added using glue and seal. The whole piece was then brushed over with glue and seal.
I hope this inspires you to play with your products.
Till next time- be happy crafting

Stampin'up Wondrous Wreath

Hi

For this set of cards I have been playing with Stampin'up new set Wondrous Wreath. There is a corresponding set of framelits dies, and this makes it so easy.

For this trifold card the wreath was stamped in olive and mossy meadow on to white card. The berries were stamped in versamark and embossed in silver, then again in gold, and then cherry cobbler, offsetting the image slightly each time. Card used is cherry cobbler, white, gold foil and natural ivory. Stamp sets used are Wondrous wreath, Endless wishes, Holiday Home & Bright & Beautiful.

This card is on an olive base. The wreath is stamped in the same colours and the berries stamped in cherry cobbler. Rhinestones are placed on the stamped berries. Red foil paper is used for the bow and red glimmer card for the oval frame. The Noel is die cut from gold foil card.

For the tag the wreath is stamped in versamark on to meadow card and embossed in white. This was done a second time, offsetting the image slightly. The bow was stamped in versamark on to gold foil card, embossed in iridescent ice and die cut. The flowers are embossed in cherry cobbler on to cherry cobbler card. Gold glitter glue was used for highlights.
These are just a few ideas for this set.  I hope they give you some inspiration for your Christmas crafting.
Till next time- Happy Christmas creating.

Pocket note cards

Hello
I recently had a request for small gift ideas that were a little different and came up with these pocket note cards.

I used Kaszazz journal pockets and using a stencil, sprayed the front and back faces with a Lindy's Stamp Gang mist. I then collage stamped using images from Kaszazz Asian Botanicals and Hummingbird sets. Inks used were Archival coffee, pesto, cobalt and red geranium. The flowers and bird cage  were tinted using distress markers. The note cards are made from Stampin'up vanilla card, and the 1" circle punch used for the pull tabs. Glitter glue highlights the flowers and berries on the pockets.
These little pocket cards could be used for many occasions, and tied together with a ribbon make a lovely gift.
Till next time - happy crafting

Australia Mini Canvas...

Hello.

I am still playing with my Australian animal and Australia Map stamps...

Here is another Mini Canvas I have created for a Friend's Japanese Niece, who was visiting for a week...

I stamped and black embossed the animal images, coloured the kangaroo, koala and kookaburra with watercolour pencils.  I coloured the Darkroom Door Butterfly with copic marker and then glossy accented all of the animals.

I added ribbon with a brass Australia charm, also added a sticker to the map of Australia which is an Eclectic Images stamp, as is the wording.

See you again soon,

Australian Wine Tags

Hi,

Now, this is something I had not made before - love trying new things...   My friend and I have had some Japanese visitors and we wanted to make something Australian as a gift -  and as they are wine drinkers, this is what we have come up with...

Wine Tags..... Perfect with that bottle of Australian Red...

Aren't they just gorgeous!!!  The paper we used is from a Bella Paper Pad, the "Australia" is an Eclectic Stamp and the koala is a die made by Cheery Lynn Designs.  Thank-you to my beautiful friend, we enjoyed our own bottle while making these!

Hope our friends enjoy their "Australian" bottles...

Stampin'up-Beauty of the Season

Hello

Today's cards features  the new Stampin'up set - Beauty of the Season.

This first card uses the colours of Cherry cobbler and white. The image has been stamped with memento ink on to white card and coloured with alcohol markers, then attached to the card front. A piece of  acetate is placed over  the front, then patterned paper which has an oval aperture die cut into it. An oval frame was die cut from glitter card and placed over, and the sentiment stamped and also cut into an oval. A faceted button tied with red ribbon, and some rhinestones finish the design.

A matching gift tag was created. The tag was punched with the scalloped top tag punch, from crumb cake card.

The second card is Crumb cake and white. The lower half of the front panel is embossed with the decorative dots folder. The image was stamped with versamark and white embossed. The cardinal is coloured with the chalk marker, and the branch and berries with markers. White craft ink was used for sponging. The berries are highlighted with red glitter glue. Pearls were  added to the corners, the sentiment tag and the ribbon.

A matching gift card was created in the same way.
This is just two ideas for this stamp set. I am sure they will inspire you to come up with many more.

Kaszazz - Seahorse, Prima - Seashore, Stampin' Up - By the Tide - Birthday Card

Hello

Following the Sea theme of my last card, I have created this gorgeous card using Stampin' Up's new In Colour - Lost Lagoon, layered with Vanilla card and then layered with Prima's Seashore.

First, I white embossed the coral from Stampin' Up's By the Tide set across the bottom of the Prima Paper.   I also white embossed Kaszazz's Seahorse onto the Lost Lagoon Cardstock and cut this out.  Also on Lost Lagoon, I clear embossed a shell from the same stamp set and also a small turtle from another old set (unsure of name sorry).  I then clear embossed onto vanilla card another shell which I stamped with the Lost Lagoon inkpad.  I used a Martha Stewart Punch (I think named Autumn Branch) to create seaweed/coral.

The Happy Birthday on the front of the card is a Kaszazz stamp - Happy Birthday Bold, and the script inside the card is also a Kaszazz stamp - Love and Wishes Script.
Pearls added to the front of the card and a black rhinestone for the Seahorse's eye complete the card.

I think this would have to be one of my favourite cards that I have created!!
Kaszazz, Stampin' Up, Prima, Martha Stewart - all great products! Where could you go wrong?!

 With Love and Best Wishes

Graphic 45 - By The Sea - Beachcomber - Easel Card

Hi There,

Graphic 45 - By the Sea's collection has so many gorgeous colours - here is an easel card I have created using the paper - Beachcomber...

I have created the card base with one of the new In Colours from Stampin' Up - Lost Lagoon, then layered it with another new In Colour - Tangelo Twist - both of which go perfectly with the Graphic 45 Paper!
I have added 4 charms - a turtle, compass, anchor and seahorse - 3 of which are added to the 'rope' across the bottom.
The Happy Birthday is also a Stampin' Up Set - Itty Bitty Banners - diecut with the  matching Itty Bitty Banners Framelits.

The inside of my easel card reads - 'it's your day' - from the Stampin' Up set - Happiest Birthday Wishes, stamped in Tangelo Twist onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.  The cute little Turtle is from a very old set, I have had for many years. (Sorry - not sure of the brand name)

Vintage Christmas Postcard Cards

Hi

I really love Christmas, especially the traditional vintage, Victorian designs.
I was fortunate to have a set of Vintage design post cards, so I have made them up into cards.

The post cards were each printed with a white frame.

I matted them on to Stampin'up card in either Gumball green, or real red and then mounted them on to card bases in the contrasting colour.

Each card was then embellished, some with gold ribbon, and rhinestones and pearls, and glitter glue added for highlights.

An insert was stamped for each card using sentiments and images from the following older Stampin'up Christmas sets
A Wish for Peace
Bells & Boughs
Christmas Messages
Christmas Lodge
Many Merry Messages
More Merry Messages

Of course, I then had to make a box to protect each set.
I used red card for the box bases and Natural white card for the lids, added a patterned paper mat for the card, some ribbon, and a rhinestone star.

Don't they make you feel all Christmassy?
Be happy with your Christmas crafting. It is not too early.
Till next time
