Bags by BaRb

Hello

As a change of pace, I have something totally different for you today. These are the first two of the bags which I plan to share with you.

Leopard Bag

These  satchel style bags, as you can see, have been created using animal print fabrics.
Each bag has a divided pocket on the lining, which will hold your mobile phone and glasses, or whatever else you may carry.
On these bags, the animal eyes are highlighted with crystals.

Rhino bag

These bags are a great size for every day and are very comfortable to wear.

I hope you enjoy this little diversion, and that we will see you again soon.

Prima Anniversary Card...

Hello,

Todays card was created for an Anniversary - the beautiful couple had a shell themed wedding and I was asked to create a card following this theme.  This is what I came up with...

Using Prima paper, a leaf die as my coral, some die-cut shells and a shell brad and also some sequins to complete the card.

And stamped inside some more shells and "Wishing you..."

Thanks for visiting, hope to see you again soon,

Travel Card...

Hello,

Today I have a travel themed card to share with you.The papers and diecuts are from Kaisercraft, mounted on a black layer of cardstock, then adhered to a white square card base.

The insert is simply stamped with an aeroplane stamp from Stampin' Up, with plenty of space to add your own message on this very universal holiday/travel card.

Oh to be off on a journey to somewhere exciting!
If you are lucky enough to be travelling - hope you have an awesome trip!

Australian Outback Cards...

Hello,

Sharing with you today on a really quick post, a couple of Outback cards I have created recently.

Trees, grass trees, a bird and a windmill - very Australian. Using neutral/natural coloured cardstock has also helped to create an outback feel to the cards.

Have a great day!

Vintage Leaves Cards

Hello

This set of cards have been created using Stampin'up Vintage Leaves stamp set and coordinating leaf dies. Card bases are all white and the first layer is tangello card.

This first card has the Sentiment - from Kaszazz - stamped and white embossed on to tangello card and  then embossed in the tree trunk folder. Ribbon was wrapped round, and the panel taped to the card base. The leaves were stamped in versamark on to oatmeal card and then rubbed over with chalks to add colour. A little perfect pearl powder was brushed over. Leaves were then die cut and arranged over the card front, along with a button tied with twine. Candy dots were added and the two smaller leaves coated in glossy accents.

On this card the tangello panel has leaves stamped in tangello ink. A circle aperture was die cut, and leaves stamped on the white card beneath the circle position. The Kaszazz sentiment was white embossed, ribbon added and the panel then taped to the card base. The leaves were added with a button tied with twine, then highlighted with shimmer paint.
The card on the right has the tangello background stamped with leaves in versamark ink and perfect pearl powder brushed over some and chalks over the others. A window was punched, the sentiment stamped on to the white card base  to be visible through the window, the ribbon added and the panel added to the card. The leaves were arranged, and the ribbon  knotted through a wooden embellishment. The smaller leaf was coated in glossy accents. Candy dots were added to both cards.
The leaves on both these cards were stamped in archival ink on to white card and then coloured with chalks. They were then sprayed with Dylusions white linen.

All cards have stamped inserts,  using the leaves in various configurations.

These cards are quite bright and I hope they brighten your day.

Till next time

Music 4 Ways cards - Kaszazz

Hello

I have been creating again with white/oatmeal card, this time with the addition of black.

Card bases are white, with a layer of black matting and the image panel oatmeal.
The oatmeal panels were first dry brushed with either black or white gesso and allowed to dry.

Tulips & Music stamp from Kaszazz was used for these cards.
The black painted panel was stamped and embossed in white and the white panel stamped and embossed with black. Images were coloured with watercolour pencils and waterbrush. Both black and oatmeal Card edges were roughly distressed.
Washi tape was added to the bottom of the card base and right side corners rounded. The Stamped panels were taped to the black card, brads added to the corners, and then fixed to the card base
Gel pen was used to doodle a border round both stamped panels and stickles added to the white flowers and glossy accents to the green stems on the black card.

Music Collage stamp from Kaszazz was used for these cards.
They are created the same way as the previous cards.
The black card had the fiddle stamped and white embossed a second time on to piece of oatmeal card, then fussy cut and mounted above the original image. It was then coated in glossy accents.

All cards have stamped inserts. I have used no sentiments on the cards so they can be used for any occasion.

I really enjoy starting with these base colours. The possibilities are endless.

Till next time - be happy creating
