Kaiser Violet Crush, Crafty Individuals and Stampin' Up - Cards...

Good Morning,

A touch of Purple - sorry - Violet - for you today... Kaisercraft's Violet Crush Paper Pad and Collectables.

The first card was created using an image from Crafty Individuals C1-285, stamped in black ink and then restamped onto another piece of white card. The image was then stamped a third time onto purple - dress, hat and bag cut out and adhered onto the top of the second image, which was then attached to the card using mounting tape. A few layers with offset top layers, ribbon and pearls make this a beautiful card...

Next, A cup of thanks...  I have used paper from the Violet Crush range, layered onto a black layer and then a white card base, with some die-cuts also from the Violet Crush Range.  The black embossed Tea cup and the wording are from Stampin' Up's Tea Shoppe stamp set.

Now after shopping for High Class Millinery (top Card) I think we all should attend the Tea Party below...  Anyone interested?  I feel we need a trip back in time....

This Tea Party image is also a Crafty Individuals stamp CI-269.  I used beautiful papers, again from the Violet Crush range, ribbons and pearls to create this beautiful card.

Thanks for visiting us, if you interested in purchasing any of our creations, we have an online store and we would love to see you:

Enjoy your Tea Party,

Stampin'up Wetlands Cards

Hello

A couple more Stampin'up cards for you today featuring Wetlands stamp set.

I have made a similar card to this one previously, but in different colours and using other sentiments. This one is a navy base. The paper layer has been stamped repeatedly with the wading birds and an oval die cut to the left of the paper. The goose was stamped on natural ivory card, shaded with ink and placed behind a piece of acetate. This was then placed behind the aperture and the whole panel taped to the card front. A strip of paper cut to a banner was taped below the oval and the Birthday sentiment stamped, cut to a banner and mounted to the top right. A piece of sky card was stamped with the reeds and die cut into a frame. This was then positioned above the aperture and coated with crystal effects. An insert was stamped and taped inside and candy dots added to the front to finish.

This card is made using the negative stamped paper oval and the negative frame piece from the above card. The card base is island indigo and matted with paper from Adventure bound pad. Chevron natural ribbon is added across the bottom with two pleats and a antique brad. Candy dots are added to the frame section and this is then coated with crystal effects. An insert was added.
I have resolved to try my best to create something with negative pieces at the same time as the original creation. This hopefully will prevent those trays of bits and pieces that seem to gather.
See you again soon - till then keep happy crafting

Stampin'up - The Open Sea- Notebook/journal

Hello

Quite often we find we need a small notebook/ journal, or perhaps a small gift. This one will fit in a pocket or handbag.

I first covered the notebook, added an elastic strap to the back cover (to hold it closed when stuffed with notes, brochures etc.), then lined the inside front and back covers.

A pocket was added inside the front cover and three tags to be used as pageholders or for extra notes.
Images from Stampin'up The Open Sea were stamped in navy on to white card, matted to navy card and layered flat to the front cover. Tickets from That's the ticket were also stamped and punched and added in the layers. Paper clips and slides were placed on some pages, candy dots added to the front, rhinestones to the compass and the map(Australia of course), and the compass and anchor coated with crystal effects.
No ordinary notebook now.
Till next time

Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove, Crafty Individuals Card - Polly...

Good Morning,

"Polly put the kettle on, We'll all have tea".

I just love this stamp - Crafty Individuals - CI340!  The card base is Stampin' Up's Primrose Petals cardstock, with a vanilla layer and then a beautiful paper from Kaisercraft's Magnolia Grove Paper Pad.

I stamped the image(s) with black ink, separated all the pieces and then adhered them to the card, leaving them uncoloured.  Pearls in the corners of the card and in the corner of the centre image was all that was needed to complete this beautiful card.

Yes please Polly, I would love a cup of tea!!!

I have added this card to our online store:
Be quick, as most of our cards are OOAK (One of a kind), so visit soon...
