Leaves of Holly - Stampin'up

 Hello

The Leaves of Holly, stamp, die and paper collection from Stampin'up, was used for these lovely Christmas cards.

Distressed gold, gold and rose gold, and peaceful Deer papers were also used, as was gold foil card and dies from Colour and Contour set.
Ribbons, gems and twine were added, and Glossy accents, glitter glue, and Wink of Stella pens were used to highlight.

The traditional colours of Christmas seem to make the most beautiful cards.

Lavinia Alana - Mermazing...

Hello,

Todays' card features an internal window-box into an under the sea scene. I have used a scalloped oval die on the front which is carried through to the inside as well. The beautiful mermaid on the front is Lavinia's Alana.

The wording and the images on in the inside of the card are from an unnamed stamp set that I have in my stash. The octopus and the jellyfish are cut from white card stock.

By using the same paper inside the back of the card and on the scalloped circle, the jellyfish and octopus are brought into the scene.

I had a great time creating this style card - the possibilities for themes are endless!

Have a great day!

Seas the Day - Stampin'up

 Hello

Seas the Day stamp and die sets from Stampin'up feature in these watery cards.

Deep blue patterned paper was stamped with the tall reeds using white ink and layered on to the Pool Party card base.
The die cut front panel was shaded with inks and mounted over the top. Die cut plants were tucked behind and fixed in place.
The fish, crab and starfish images were stamped and die cut then shaped and mounted in place.

Diorama dies form the frame shapes for these card. Stamped and die cut images from older sets were also used.
Glossy accents were applied to eyes and to form bubbles, and gems and pebbles fixed in place. Wink of Stella was applied for sparkle.

Have a great day

Australiana Christmas Cards

 Hello

I know these are Christmas, but by  leaving off the Santa hats and changing the sentiments, you can create cards for any occasion.

The background Bottlebrush and baubles was stamped on to white card and shaded with Distress Oxide ink. Images were coloured with Illustrator pens. Cockatoos are stamped on white card, shaded and fussy cut. The panel was layered on to foil card and on to a white card base.
Gems, glitter and glossy accents finish off the design.

The geo koala stamp and die used on this card, and the small wombats on the lower card are from Uniquely Creative.
The cockatoos and the other koalas are stamps from Kaszazz, as are the papers used.

Enjoy your crafting.

Candlelit Christmas - Heartfelt Creations

 Hello

These Christmas cards were created using Stamps, dies and papers from Candlelit Christmas collection from Heartfelt Creations.

For this gatefold card panels were cut from the papers for the front of the card and layered on to gold foil card.
Papers were cut to fit the inside panels and a strip greeting (also from the papers) was added.
Die cut and moulded and assembled poinsettia flowers and holly leaves were added to the card front, along with a sentiment cut from the papers and layered on to gold foil card.
Gems, glossy accents and glitter glue were used to highlight.

Paper was layered on to glitter card then attached to the card base. A frame was cut from foil card and added, then overlaid with a label shape and base layer cut from the papers.
Poinsettia flowers, holly leaves, and a sentiment were added, as were some red gems and crystal star gems.
Glossy accents and glitter glue were applied.

For the left card paper was layered on to glitter card, then to the card front. Glitter accents were added to the trees, a die cut strip was placed across the bottom, and a stamped and die cut deer positioned. A sentiment was added to glitter card and mounted, and gems and stars were added.

For the second card paper was added to glitter card and to the card front. A panel was cut from the papers, an oval aperture was die cut from this and the frame piece then added to the card.
Poinsettias, holly leaves, a sentiment, and gems were added. Glitter glue and glossy accents were applied.

Christmas is coming.
