Hello
Hope you are all doing well.
I have a couple of split panel cards for you today.
To create these cards, first take your white base card and layer on a panel of patterned paper which has been matted on to coloured card. Emboss a panel of white card then measure 7.5 cm down from the top right corner, and 7 cm in from the bottom left corner, and cut a diagonal section up to the top left corner. Mat these pieces on to slightly larger pieces of coloured card. These pieces are then added to the card base using foam tape.
Stamped, coloured and die cut images have been to the top corners where the sections meet. A sentiment label was then added to each card. Gems, Stickles glitter glue and glossy accents were the final highlights.
Enjoy your day

Fairies and Woodland Friends - Lavinia Stamps
Hello
We take a little trip to fantasyland this time and for these cards I have used some of the gorgeous designs from Lavinia stamps.

We take a little trip to fantasyland this time and for these cards I have used some of the gorgeous designs from Lavinia stamps.
The above cards were all created using smooth white card for the design panel. Backgrounds were first created using masking techniques and either distress, or distress oxide inks.
All stamping was done with Versafine inks. Black for main focal images (eg. animals) and colours for other elements. Wink of Stella pens were used for additional colouring (fairy thistles and cherry blossoms).
The panels were then fixed to card bases in colours chosen to correspond with the designs. Stickles glitter glue and liquid pearls were added for sparkle.
This design has been stamped on white gloss card. Hero Arts dandelion frame border was first stamped, then Lavinia's fairy and flutterby, using Versafine black ink.
Colour was added to the background by sponging on Distress inks.
The coloured panel was layered on to black gloss card, then on to a coloured base card.
Stickles glitter glue was added for highlights.
I hope you have enjoyed our little visit.

Z fold Box Cards
Hello
This post is about Z fold box cards which have one bridge in the box section.
Patterned paper was added to all card sections before assembly. A panel of card was added to the back section for a greeting.

This card is embellished with a birdhouse and flowers using Cheery Lynn dies, and a bird and fronds cut with Memory Box dies.

Birds and blooms (from Heartfelt Creations), were stamped, die cut and coloured with watercolour pencils. A die cut sentiment also added.

Lillypad lake from Stampin'up was used here. Images coloured with alcohol ink markers.

Heartfelt Creations birds and blooms also used on this card. Images coloured with alcohol ink markers.

Sympathy Cards - Featuring Tree Images...
Hello,
Today's Sympathy cards all feature images from the garden. I have used Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Word Window Punch and Label Punch for all of the cards. All card fronts have been created using strips of paper from various Kaisercraft Paper Pads.
The image used on both of the following cards is from Stampin' Up's - Just Believe Stamp Set.
When creating Sympathy cards, I always feel it is best to keep them simple.
See you again soon,

High Tide - Stampin'up
Hello
These cards feature the High Tide stamp set from Stampin'up, and the Riverbank stamp set from Kaszazz.
Archival inks were used for the Kaszazz stamps. Versafine inks were used for the Stampin'up images as they are photopolymer, and I find this ink to give the best result.

Images were stamped on to smooth watercolour paper, then Distress inks were either swiped or sponged on, then lightly wiped over with a damp wipe to blend.
This final card was stamped on to heavier watercolour paper then washed over with distress inks and a waterbrush. The cruise liner and the dolphin stamps are from Kaszazz.
Stickles glitter glue was added to highlight the water on some cards, and a candy dot added to the top corner.
I hope you have found a little restful inspiration from todays visit.
