Music 4 Ways cards - Kaszazz

Hello

I have been creating again with white/oatmeal card, this time with the addition of black.

Card bases are white, with a layer of black matting and the image panel oatmeal.
The oatmeal panels were first dry brushed with either black or white gesso and allowed to dry.

Tulips & Music stamp from Kaszazz was used for these cards.
The black painted panel was stamped and embossed in white and the white panel stamped and embossed with black. Images were coloured with watercolour pencils and waterbrush. Both black and oatmeal Card edges were roughly distressed.
Washi tape was added to the bottom of the card base and right side corners rounded. The Stamped panels were taped to the black card, brads added to the corners, and then fixed to the card base
Gel pen was used to doodle a border round both stamped panels and stickles added to the white flowers and glossy accents to the green stems on the black card.

Music Collage stamp from Kaszazz was used for these cards.
They are created the same way as the previous cards.
The black card had the fiddle stamped and white embossed a second time on to piece of oatmeal card, then fussy cut and mounted above the original image. It was then coated in glossy accents.

All cards have stamped inserts. I have used no sentiments on the cards so they can be used for any occasion.

I really enjoy starting with these base colours. The possibilities are endless.

Till next time - be happy creating

Cupcake and Teapot Cards...

Hi there,

I must admit I have a bit of a teacup addiction ... Here are a couple of square cards I have created recently for customer orders.  Square cards always seem to have a touch of elegance about them!

A cupcake inside a teacup... mmmm. I am thinking High Tea! Lace, doily and glitter were perfect additions to this card.

Next card - oranges, pinks and lime greens, teapot and teacup - just beautiful.

Off to make a cup of tea, maybe a cupcake or two!

Horse and Giraffe Cards...

Hello,

Todays cards are featuring animals - horse and giraffe cards.  The little girl I created the horse card for absolutely loves horses and who can resist using the colour pink when creating cards for little girls?  Both horse stamps are from an Inkadinkado set called Chevron.

Now, for some giraffes... This gorgeous creature is a Stampendous image.  I felt I did not need to add any colour (apart from the leaves and grass) to the actual image because of the background papers I have used to create each card.

By using the wording "for you", these cards can be used for many occasions.

Have a wild day!

Magnolia Blossom cards - Kaszazz

Hello

These two cards have been created using the beautiful Magnolia stamp from Kaszazz

Both cards have the image stamped and embossed in white on to oatmeal card. The images are coloured with watercolour pencils with the green leaves only blended over with a waterbrush. The image panels were then taped to white card. All edges were first distressed. Stickles was added to the flower centres.

Both cards have white bases.
This first card has an oatmeal panel embossed in the roses folder, with the embossing highlighted by sponging with white ink. It was then wrapped with ribbon and the sentiment banner added. The image panel has a star clip added and was then mounted to the card. A ribbon bow and pearls were added to the image and pearls and pearls and stickles to the sentiment panel finished the card.

This card has the oatmeal panel on the card base embossed in the vine edge folder.
Both cards have stamped inserts.

I have made a set of blossom cards using the white/oatmeal colourway and the same basic design, which I will share next time.

Till then, enjoy

All Boy Mini Album

Hi

Today I have a mini album to share.

This album is in blue, mint and white and is suitable for a boy. On the cover I cut an image from the paper and mounted it above the corresponding image on the paper. It was then covered in glossy accents.

There are six internal pages

There are tabs, tags and pockets which allow plenty of room for photos, drawings, journaling and little treasures, etc.

I have used a variety of papers, (mostly Kaisercraft Childs Play), and other embellishments.

The end.

Enjoy
