Masculine Cards - Kaszazz

Hello

These cards were created using the Tall Ship, and Catch of the Day stamps from the Mediterranean collection by Kaszazz.

The ship was stamped with Cobalt Archival ink on to white card, and the ocean shaded with the same ink. This was then die cut and layered on to a larger piece die cut from blue card.
A blue card base was used, layered with white card, then patterned paper. the ship panel was then mounted on top.
The sail word is part of a sentiment stamp, cut into a tag shape and layered with a blue tag shape, tied together with twine and added to the top.

This card is made in the same way. The fish were stamped with Watering can Archival ink and shaded with the same ink. They were then brushed over with Wink of Stella pen to give them some sparkle. A dot of glossy accents was added to the eyes.
The sentiment is from the Gone Fishing - Word montage set.
A paper clip tied with twine, and some blue gems were added to finish off.

I hope you are having a great day.

Woodsy Wonderland Shadow Boxes - Heartfelt Creations

Hello

When I bought this Woodsy Wonderland collection by Heartfelt Creations, I felt it would be perfect for Shadow boxes.

For this box I used a 20cm canvas and reversed it.
The inside was lined with a green leafy paper from Kaszazz.
The woodgrain paper was wrapped and secured to the back making sure it was large enough to wrap up and over the sides and front edges.
I stamped, coloured and die cut lots of the images from the collection, then arranged and layered them in using foam mounting tape and chipboard pieces for the different levels.
Glitter glue, gems, glossy accents and sparkly pens were then used to highlight selected areas. When all was dry, I placed acetate across the front to protect it. The woodgrain paper sides were then secured over the edges using mitered corners.
Additional stamped and die cut images were added across the bottom on the outside of the acetate and paper. All gluing was done using Multi medium matte, and this was also used to seal the outside surfaces.

This mini shadow box was the first creation.
An 8 x 10 cm mini canvas was reversed for this.

The easel and the edges of the  frame were coloured with an alcohol ink marker.
The back of the canvas and the inside of the box were covered with patterned paper.
The prepared images were layered and mounted inside the box.
Acetate was attached to cover the outside using  multi medium. The glittered hearts and the trees were added to the outside using glossy accents, and were then coated with the glossy accents.

I hope you enjoy these shadow boxes an much as I enjoyed making them.

Till next time

Oakberry Lane Blossom Cards - Heartfelt Creations

Hello

We have a couple of  cards  today featuring Oakberry Lane Blossoms, stamps, dies and mould, from Heartfelt Creations.

This first card is a diagonal easel card. The base was cut using a scalloped square die with the folded card overlapping the edge of the die. The front section was scored and folded in half, and another die cut scalloped square attached to the front stand. The front stand and inside base were covered with smaller scalloped squares cut from patterned paper.
The flowers and leaves were stamped with archival ink on to white card, sponged over with distress inks then die cut. They were then shaped in the mould and formed into layered blossoms. Pearls were added to the centres and glitter glue dotted on. A sentiment was stamped, die cut into a banner shape, and mounted, making sure to orientate it in the correct position.
A panel of card was added inside the base to write a message.

This card base was cut with a wavy rectangle die, then layered with a second piece of card, with a strip of ribbon added down the left edge.
A smaller rectangle was cut from patterned paper (from Kaszazz), stamped with a sentiment, then layered on the front.
The flowers and leaves were added, along with some additional butterflies, fussy cut from the paper.

Enjoy your day
