Boutique Box Cards - Yellows and Oranges...

Hello,

Today, I am sharing a selection of cards created using the basic box card idea, removing the flaps and making the 'box' narrower so it can fit into a standard envelope.

I have a few posts of this style card to share with you, this first post being the yellow and orange themed backgrounds and flowers.

I have named these Boutique Box Cards and have created them using a selection of papers from my stash, Kaisercraft messages, a selection of stamps including Stampin' Up, Kaszazz and Penny Black and finishing each with rhinestone accents.

Be sure to visit again soon to see the next colour selection,

Sailing Home Cards - Stampin'up

Hello

I hope you are having a lovely day.
These cards have been created using mostly the Sailing Home stamp and die bundle from Stampin'up.

The cloudy sky in the background is a stamp from Riverbank set by Kaszazz. The wavy ocean is a stamp from Lilypad  Lake set by Stampin'up.
Archival Ink was used for all stamping, and images were coloured with watercolour pencils.

The great day sentiment is from Kaszazz.

Glossy accents, black gems and Wink of Stella and Stardust pens add final highlights.

Latest Bags

Hello

Hope you are all well.
For a change of pace today, I thought I would show you some of our latest bag designs.

These first two bags feature the same Sugar Skull main fabric. The first has a black back, straps and lining. The second has a red band, straps and lining.
Both bags have double straps of a length to wear comfortably over the shoulder, (I call them shoulder totes), and a divided pocket on the inside lining. These bags have Velcro closures on the tabs.
Each bag also has a small purse for those items you may not wish to carry loose in the bag.

Spring Flowers shoulder tote.

Egyptian shoulder tote has black back, straps and lining.

Cherries shoulder tote

Cherries Cross body bag. Adjustable strap with plenty of length to wear cross body. Divided inside pocket and velcro tab closure.

Our bag designs are all one of, and on the odd occasion where the same fabric has been used for two bags, the styles and trimmings will be different.

Add a little brightness to your day.

Split Panel Cards

Hello

Hope you are all doing well.
I have a couple of split panel cards for you today.

To create these cards, first take your white base card and layer on a panel of patterned paper which has been matted on to coloured card. Emboss a panel of white card then measure 7.5 cm down from the top right corner, and 7 cm in from the bottom left corner, and cut a diagonal section up to the top left corner. Mat these pieces on to slightly larger pieces of coloured card. These pieces are then added to the card base using foam tape.

Stamped, coloured and die cut images have been to the top corners where the sections meet. A sentiment label was then added to each card. Gems, Stickles glitter glue and glossy accents were the final highlights.

Enjoy your day

Fairies and Woodland Friends - Lavinia Stamps

Hello

We take a little trip to fantasyland this time and for these cards I have used some of the gorgeous designs from Lavinia stamps.

The above cards were all created using smooth white card for the design panel. Backgrounds were first created using masking techniques and either distress, or distress oxide inks.
All stamping was done with Versafine inks. Black for main focal images (eg. animals) and colours for other elements. Wink of Stella pens were used for additional colouring (fairy thistles and cherry blossoms).
The panels were then fixed to card bases in colours chosen to correspond with the designs. Stickles glitter glue and liquid pearls were added for sparkle.

This design has been stamped on white gloss card. Hero Arts dandelion frame border was first stamped, then Lavinia's fairy and flutterby, using Versafine black ink.
Colour was added to the background by sponging on Distress inks.
The coloured panel was layered on to  black gloss card, then on to a coloured base card.
Stickles glitter glue was added for highlights.

I hope you have enjoyed our little visit.
