Petal Palette - Stampin'up

Hello

The Petal Palette stamps and coordinating Petals and More die sets from Stampin'up, have many pieces which can be arranged differently for almost countless designs. These are the first of my creations.

Images have all been stamped with Archival ink.
The first 3 of these cards have the leafy image stamped on to the background. For cards 1 and 3 this piece was then embossed. Card 2 has the sentiment stamped on to it.
These panels were then fixed to the card bases.

Images were stamped on white card, coloured with inks then die cut.
Other pieces were die cut from coloured card.

The die cut pieces were arranged on the card fronts and the stamped images layered on and amongst them.
The stamped and die cut labels were then added

The background panel on the last card is from pearlised card which has been embossed.

Rhinestones were added to all cards.

Enjoy your day

Butterfly and Dragonfly ''50'' Birthday Card featuring Stampin' Up and EK Success...

Hello,

When you use butterfly and/or dragonfly images, you know you will always create beautiful cards and for this reason they are great images to use when making those 'Special' Birthday Cards.

I have die-cut the butterfly and punched the dragonfly from a silver glitter card, which I have also used as a layer on the black cardstock card base.

The butterfly is a die from Stampin' Up - Butterflies Thinlits Dies.
The dragonfly is a punch from EK Success - Dragonfly.
The 'Happy Birthday" is die cut from Elizabeth Craft Designs - Happy Birthday.
The '50' is die cut from Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Die - Vintage Market Alphabet.

Did you notice the patterned paper also features butterflies? You could even say a flutter of butterflies!
I'm fluttering off to be creative!

Dragonfly Cards - Kaszazz

Hello

I hope you are having an enjoyable day.

Serendipity and Black and White Collection stamps and dies from Kaszazz, were used for these cards.
The dragonfly is Delicate dragonfly die cut from teal glitter paper.

Images have been stamped directly on to background paper.
Card 1 has the verse from May This Day set stamped several times, some of them offset on the edges of the paper, and the flower image stamped once and partially stamped the second time. This was then wrapped with rose gold metallic tape.
Card 2 has the Meant to Fly image stamped to cover the paper.

The flower image on this card is from A Little Kindness set.
Sending you Wishes is from Mini Messages-Notes.
Rose gold glitter tape is fixed across the paper.

Background paper for all cards is Cottage Garden from Kaszazz Heirloom Collection. Stamping is done with coffee archival ink.
Card bases are blue, matted with a brown layer.

Silhouette Garden has been stamped across the bottom of this paper, and Just because, from A little Kindness set stamped above.
Dragonflies have been attached by gluing down the bodies and placing glue dots under the wings.
Coloured Rhinestones have been added to all cards to complete the designs.

Climbing Orchid - Stampin'up

Good morning

For this set of cards I used the Climbing Orchid stamp and die sets.

For the above two cards I partially embossed a panel of card the same colour as the base card, matted it on to card the same colour as I was using for the orchids, then layered them together. The sentiments are stamped directly on to the card.
The purple orchids are placed on to a flourish (Kaisercraft die) which has been die cut from green glitter card.
The peach orchids has the embossed panel wrapped with seam binding, before matting on to yellow card.

The top panel on this card has been embossed in the 3D Basket Weave folder. The leafy flourish and the sentiment label are from  Petals and More die set (both from Stampin'up).
The centre piece of all the orchids has been coated with glossy accents, and rhinestones added to all cards.

Enjoy your day

Aussie Christmas featuring Kaszazz, Darkroom Door and Stampotique...

Hello,

Sharing with you today, some Christmas cards from last year - bit late but that's okay! All cards have Red and White stripey paper from Kaszazz, glitter or foil layer and a Stampin' Up Red Card Base.

This Aussie line-up of stamp images is from two different sets - Cockatoo, Koala and Wombat are from Kaszazz Australian Animals set and the Kangaroo is from Darkroom Door's set - Australian Animals Vol 2. The wording is from Stampin' Up's Teeny Tiny Sentiments and layered using Stampin' Up Punches Word Window and Label Punch.

This cute and cuddly looking Koala is from Darkroom Door Australian Animals Vol 2.

This time I have used the Kangaroo from the Kaszazz Australian Animals set.

Last of all, these awesome stamps are from Stampotique - love, love, love this stamp Company! This is "Mary" and she is more than happy to tell you to "Jingle your own damn bells!"

Might have to Jingle my own bells to have Christmas cards posted on time! Hehehe!

Have a great day,

Bird Cards featuring Dylusions and Magenta...

Hello,

Whether they tweet, squawk, screech, twitter, chirp or otherwise, birds are such fascinating, beautiful animals! I have three bird cards to share with you today...

The birds on this first card are from a Dylusions stamp set - Cat among the Pigeons. This stamp set from the oh so talented Dyan Reaveley also features cat images - 4 birds and 4 cats. I have layered the birds onto lavender die cut octagons, which are adhered onto paper from Kaisercraft, a manilla coloured card layer, then finishing with a darker purple coloured base card.

The bird flock on the next two cards is from a stamp company called Magenta, stamped on white card and layered on coloured card.  I have once again used Kaisercraft papers for the card fronts, both have a white card layer which is then adhered to a coloured card base.

The Birthday wording on two of the cards is from a Stampin' Up Set - Basic Phrases. Rhinestones and gel pens are the only other embellishments used on these cards.

"Cat Among the Pigeons" is also the name of a novel by Agatha Christie, there is even a Multi- award-winning range of Australian Wines named "Cat Amongst the Pigeons".

Thank you for visiting.
See you again soon,

Butterfly Cards featuring Darkroom Door Butterflies...

Hello,

Happy New Year! Hope you have had a fantastic start to the Year, with new beginnings - finishing one cycle and starting the next! Speaking of life cycles... Butterflies are such beautiful insects and there is such a huge selection of butterfly stamps and dies available - it is really hard to stop at one! The following cards feature butterflies from a Darkroom Door Set named Butterflies - which has 13 beautiful butterfly images to choose from.

I have used Kaisercraft paper strips for the card fronts and black embossed the butterfly images.

As the papers are patterned, no colouring was required for the shiny black butterflies. I have simply just added rhinestones on their bodies.

There are more than 400 species of butterfly in Australia and the average lifespan of a butterfly is two weeks or less!

Here is a quote I have been seeing a lot lately...

"Your wings already exist, all you have to do is fly!"
