Kaisercraft Bird Cage

Hello

Today I am sharing with you my latest off the page project.

I started with the Kaisercraft wooden birdcage. It was first painted with Ferro metal effect in silver and copper and sections were then highlighted with Inka Gold rubbed over.
Silk flowers and leaves, mesh and wire butterflies, and a small clear acrylic bird, which was coloured with an alcohol marker were attached using a hot glue gun.
A Prima rhinestone, pearl and resin flower flourish was applied.
The large blue and gold bird was die cut using a Tim Holtz die. The bird is blue linen paper which was attached to double sided adhesive chipboard, and the wing gold glitter card. It was fixed to the cage using foam pads and hot glue, a rhinestone added to the eye, then coated with glossy accents.
A silver hanging chain was added.

A great decor piece for yourself, or a lovely gift.

Till next time

Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom - Mini Album...

Good afternoon,

Kaszazz sell packs of 5x5 Chipboard Album covers... great product to work with! I just paint the edges, allow to dry, then adhere my patterned paper.  In this case I have used beautiful papers from Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom Paper Pad and embellished with Collectables from the same range...

I bound the album using my Zutter - quick and easy...

Love the colours in this range of papers...

Also in the papers pads, there are die-cuts, I have used a selection of these on the pages of the album...

These paper pads have some glossy images - just stunning....

I added twine to the little tags etc and have tucked these into various places...

Layering up on some pages and keeping it simple on others...

"You are my Sunshine"...

"Find the beauty in Life"...

Some of these pages appear as if they have been watercoloured.

Soft pinks and mint greens...

Inside the back cover, and the back cover.

Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom - Tags...

Hello,

Today I have a collection of Tags to share with you - these tags are the large size - perfect for using Kaisercraft Collectables and papers from their Cherry Blossom range...

(Sorry about the layout of the post - it is so tricky sometimes to get the photos to display how I would like them to!! So today - they are a bit all over the place... hehe!!!)

I have been to Japan - in the Summer and in the Winter - but never when the Cherry Blossoms have been flowering  - they are absolutely beautiful in photos!

Stunning colours in this Paper range from Kaisercraft and the Collectables make it so easy to create with... I have also created a mini album using these products... will share it with you soon.

First I added a layer of Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom paper from a 6 1/2 " Paper pad, then a layer of vanilla cardstock, then another layer of paper, followed by Flower, Fans, Quotes etc from the Collectables.  Finishing off with Twine, co-ordinating ribbons, rhinestones, glossy accents, ranger stickles... beautiful!

One day, I will see real Cherry Blossoms!

Prima Princess Cards - Dressforms and Flowers...

Hi,

Prima's Princess range has some absolutely beautiful papers... such great quality - it feels like a shame to cut them hehe.....

I created a selection of cards using papers from the Prima Princess range. This first card features flowers from the Prima Princess Fairytale pack of flowers with a resin flower attached to the centre of each flower.

I have used the die - Stampin' Ups Framelits Dress Up for the next 5 cards, using both the 'inner' and the 'outer' or the 'negative'.

Flowers from the "Fairytale" Flower pack...

Ribbon roses...

Gold flowers with rhinestones...

Lace, 'Fairytale' Flowers with a Stampin' Up brad...

Neutral button and lace...

All very feminine cards, suitable for a Prima Princess!

Available for purchase:

Thanks for visiting,

Graphic 45 Staples Tags, Birdsong Collection Papers...

Good morning,

I loved creating these Tags!  Graphic 45 has in their Staples Collection - Artist Trading Tags of varying sizes - these Kraft ones were a great way to use up the scraps I had left from their Birdsong Collection of papers.

From this...

To these...

The butterflies used throughout the tags were punched using Stampin' Up's Bitty Butterfly Punch and Elegant Butterfly punch.

I added a layer of blue paper from my stash...

The layout of each tag was slightly different - to make best use of the paper scraps...

The chipboard pieces on two of the tag fronts are Dusty Attic Nameplate #3...

Which were painted/stained with Ranger Distress Stain - Tarnished Brass...

Highlighting was done with Stardust gellyroll pens and glossy accents...

And of course, rhinestones, pearls and co-ordinating ribbons completed this project.

Sad to say - I have now used up all of this beautiful collection of papers, but happy to say I used every last bit!!

Have a fantastic day, whatever you may be doing!

Kaszazz Vintage Pockets and Paper Pad

Hello,

Today I have a mini album to show you, I think this one would be suitable for a child, so I have called it "Happy"...

My main focus for this album was to use a Kaszazz product - well two actually - their Creative Journal Pockets and their Creative Journal Paper Pad (24) - Vintage.

I chose papers to suit the pockets individually, (I honestly was not sure about using them all together in the same album as (to me) they do not appear to co-ordinate - just my thoughts.....), but somehow have pulled it all together and have made it work!!

Cute little birds and blue flowers...

Bright and I mean bright green, followed by a soft blue...

Yellow flowers and lastly grey with a white leaf...

Inside each pocket I have included the papers from the paper pad, bound the album with my Zutter and have used 2 more products from my stash - woohoo!

Have a "Happy" day!
