Covered Post it Notes with Pen - Australiana

Hello

I have been creating again with these great Australiana dies from Ultimate Crafts.  This time I have used them on the covers of  Post it notes with pen holders. Two of the covers use patterned papers from Kaszazz and the others have backgrounds stamped with grass trees or gum trees.

Wallaby
Australia
Kookaburra
Platypus
Wombat

I find it really great to have dies of our own Australian flora and fauna to use on our crafty projects.
Enjoy
Till next time - Have fun crafting

Origami Paper Cards Part 1...

Good morning,

Today I have lots of Oriental inspiration for you.  I stamped out many images from my collection of Asian inspired Girls and matched them up with Origami papers. I selected cardstock to match and then coloured my images.  In this session I created about 20 cards, following are the first 7...

Origami papers are just the perfect product to use as the background papers for this card theme.         Flowers, fans, butterflies and cranes...
Back again soon with more cards to share with you,

Crochet Flower Bookmarks and Lanyards...

Hello,

Hope you have a fantastic day planned.  I have done the housework... well most of it hehe!  I have shared with you previously some of my crocheted flower creations, today I have two more ideas to show you.

First some bookmarks.  I hand stamped all the flowers and the sayings on the bookmarks using colours to co-ordinate with the flower colour.  I have also laminated each bookmark for added protection.

Next some lanyards.  These make a great gift as many people use lanyards these days for a variety of reasons - Id cards, keys, bus passes etc etc

Off to do some creating... hope you are as well!

Calendar Notes with Pen

Hello

This year is fast winding down and it is time to start thinking of creating those small Christmas and end of year gifts.
These little calendar pads for 2016 from Couture Creations are available now, (I got mine from Blue Edge Crafts), so here are the first of the Calendar Notes I will be creating.

The notes are all post it sticky notes, and are replaceable in the covers when used.

The dream catcher and arrow stamps are from Kaszazz.

Leaf, flower and feather stamps, punches and dies, along with the papers are from Stampin'up

Each set of calendar notes has a message space incorporated into the design, therefore making a gift and card in one.
A great gift idea, I think.

Halloween Cards 2015...

Hi,

Halloween will be here before you know it!  I have created a few cards for our Market Stall and today I am sharing these with you...

I have used a selection of products - this first card features Kitty from Stampotique.

"Whether you're a good witch or a bad witch it's all about the shoes" hehe, who cannot relate to that!
Stampin Up's Tee-Hee-Hee and Papaya Collage.

Next is Stampotique's - Connie shows off her nails, using Cuttlebug's - Creepy for the spider and Tim's Gadget Gears die for the web.

Stampin' Up's Toil and Trouble, stamped on Spellbinder's Labels 10...

And Stampin' Up's Happy Halloween.

Hope you have enjoyed our Halloween Cards,
See you again soon,

Double Flip Card

Hello

I was recently shown a photo of a double flip card, and asked to recreate the design. This is what I came up with

I have used the same Stampin'up Circle flip card dies, Flower shop and petite petals stamps, and pansy and petite petals, butterfly and bitty butterfly punches as were used in the original design.

I have however used a heavier card for the base and different papers and colours, and kept to only three colours - crumb cake, white and red, plus the white glimmer card. I also added a paper layer and matting to the inside of the card, an additional scalloped circle paper layer beneath the larger butterfly, and a different sentiment.
We are all quite pleased with the result and I am sure it will be  recreated many times in other styles.

Till next time

Post it Note pads - 2

Hello again

Here are a few more of the covered post-it note pads shared recently

For this first one I used  Stampin'up bird punch and added long legs.
The second book has embossed gold foil matted on to pearl card.

This one has Kaszazz leafy branch stamped for the background and a dimensional border sticker
which I cut into pieces.

An embossed background, Stampin'up bird punch, Cottage cutz leaf die and Cheery Lyn flowers dies. All books have lined post it sticky note pads.

Stampin'up stamps, punch, dies and paper  and embossing folder used on the blue pad.
The green book has embossed foil matted to black embossed card,  cogs die cuts and metal cogs.
These note pads are again, all A5 post it sticky notes, which are replaceable in the covers when used.
